The Commies are coming! Henry Lamb points out Red Party is hoping for more Dem control in D.C.

It is getting increasingly difficult to distinguish between the agenda of the Democratic Party and the agenda of the Communist Party. Joelle Fishman, chairwoman of the Political Action Committee, CPUSA, says:

Our party has an important role to play in keeping the focus on the fight for a new direction in our country for jobs, health care and an end to the war. That is how the 2008 elections will be won.

She tells her members:

We should get involved in voter registration in every club and involving every member. We can inspire voter registration and turnout by relating the elections to ending the war, achieving universal single-payer health care and measures to respond to the economic crisis.

Does this sound like a Democratic rally or what?

Just a year and a half ago, in January 2006, the main estimate of pollsters and the mass media was that it would not be possible to change control of Congress. The change was bigger than most anyone anticipated. We are now building on the victory.

The main emphasis in the Senate is to hold onto and enlarge the Democratic majority.

The sad reality is that because Communists hide behind words such as "progressive" and "democratic," they have been able to sell their agenda to the public. They claim that:

Voters favor Democrats in Congress on the issues (52-37 on the war; 59-29 health care, 54-29 energy, 56-33 Social Security, 55-38 jobs). A majority even prefer Democrats on the issue of deficits (51-38). (Battleground 2008 July poll by Celinda Lake).

If this is true, it means that the majority of people in America support the agenda of the Communist Party. Joelle Fishman is correct when she says:

No, the sad reality is that much of the public is stupid.

"Stupid should hurt", MGD always says. Unfortunately, in this case, it hurts us all.

The Communist party...Communists...oh yeah. I remember them.

Those would be the people responsible for mass murdering what, 100 million people in the last 90 years?

Makes A. Hitler look like a nowhere piker.

I know many people from the countries they used to dominate. Those people literally praise God the day the Communists left town. Poland, East Germany, the Baltics...these are people who support the war in Iraq simply because they know what it was like to live under a despicable dictator and pray every day that someone would come to rescue them. Here in the Bay Area the Vietnamese people paid for a billboard on Highway 101 in Palo Alto showing Communist police oppressing a man for speaking out - so that all the world could see. This is now, today!

And the Communists are still around in this country? They can speak their name without being set upon by an angry mob?

The amazing thing about the American Left is that it clothes itself in this aura of "caring" for everyone else - and everyone gives them a pass, even though history and their own words show them to be worse than the Nazi party.

You have to give them credit. Pulling off a propaganda ploy like that is no mean feat.

The 2008 election cycle looks bad for the GOP. The only hope that we have is that there will be enough Republican Senators to filibuster the really bad stuff and that the GOP can right itself for the mid-term elections in 2010.

No, the sad reality is that much of the public is stupid.

You are correct. A lot of the public has no dang clue what is going on. It is true that the commies hide too. If they came right out, stupid folk might understand. I guess it is our job to be the Paul Reveres of the day. We have to try and educate our Brothers and Sisters. Not always an easy task, educate some of the stupid people.

And I also feel like this. Some folks I see are not stupid. They are disgruntled. They know something is not right in DC, but they can not put their finger on it. These are the ones I like to talk to. They are disgruntled enough not to vote or get involved with the process. I tell them that if all the folks who felt like them went out and voted, some things could change. I put a little guilt twist on em and I know of some who have voted after I talked to them. Sometimes, I have to talk to a person more then once. And unless they tell me to buzz off, I am going to say it the way I see it.

Communism is a funny ideology.

It is selling the ignorant masses on a egalitarian society where everyone is treated equally. Thing is it does not apply to the leadership who take more and more for themselves and give the people as little as possible.

The apparachniks make the trains run on time and get their pensions(Municipal Unions) While the lower income masses get the bare minimum (Health care, education).

The rest of us pay for it through progressively higher taxes until we either become an apparachnik or are put into the same position as the lower income masses.

If you go against the regime, you are villified by the media (Media Matters, MSM) and if are with the regime and commit a crime, you are protected by the same organizations as well as legally (ACLU and the BAR).

Communism is a crock. It is stealing by a legal means using the political system as its tool to get into our pockets.

Reid, Clinton and company aren’t ideologues. They are common criminals and should be outed and treated as such.

No offense, but I figured this one out in the middle 1970s when I noticed that the theories, language, words - even the cadence and cant - spoken by my Marxist professors generally matched those of the “progressive wing” of the Democrat party.

Antonio Gramsci’s plan of action is brilliant.

I wonder at times if George Lincoln Rockwell would roll over in his grave if we conservatives read his “the Fable of the Ducks and the Hens” from our perspective. So many of the scenarios sound like our fight against socialist liberals.
