It has come to my attention Rush Limbaugh may be taken off the air. I find this a terrible thing as the organization involved, Mediamatters.org is an organization that has been proven to exaggerate it’s claims in the past and is an organization hell bent on removing any conservative voice from the airwaves. I believe it would be a terrible financial decision as well has ratings decision for Clear Channel to remove Rush. I guarantee you, none of Rush’s “dittoheads” are tuning away based on a comment that frankly, we all understood. Please don’t cave in to special interest groups, don’t let groups that don’t listen to Mr. Limbaugh’s show dictate how Clear Channel does business. If free speech is valued at Clear Channel, you will not cave in.

The poseur in question (McBeth sp?) did not even complete basic training.....he was never anything but a trainee, NOT EVER a Soldier. Couldn’t cut it....not good enough.
So besides being right, Rush is technically correct as well.
Imus, the liberal, should not be in this group, he got into trouble for saying something stupid. Rush and O'Reilly, not liberals, are being attacked with lies when what they actually said was reasonable and truthfull.

Good luck, these clowns have been trying to get Rush off the air since 1991. I’m all for Soros wasting his time and money.
Look at Rush’s ratings and, most importantly, the amount of money he has made for his parent company for nearly 20 years. Now look at the ratings and how much money the competitor, Air America, has made. Their ratings were in the dumper from the beginning and they went bankrupt in less than 2 years. The business case is a slam-dunk.
Even if the president of Clear Channel took up a crack habit and ran Rush off, he’d be back with somebody else inside a week. This is much ado about nothing. Radio stations and their parent companies have had their switchboards lit up by angry anti-Rush people a week after Rush went on the air and it hasn’t let up. He survived the loss of his TV show in the early 90s, he survived being kicked off TV football commentary, and he survived a drug addiction scandal. Why would Clear Channel run him now?
I’ve been busy e-mailing reps and Senators that are supporting this slander of Rush. I have asked them where their outrage was when Durbin, Harry, Murtha, etc. slandered our troops.
Rush is fine. And with MacBeth getting smoked in Federal Court harry reid is going to be made to look like the Jack Ass that he is.
I don’t think Rush is in any danger of getting taken off the air.
I don’t think Clear Channel would be so stupid as to kill their goose who lays the golden EIB eggs, but if they were, their value would tank almost immediately. Then Rush could buy up the whole company and put himself back on the air. :o)
Clear Channel will never let him go, for a number of reasons:
1. He is too BIG a money maker for the company. And face it - money talks louder than any whining senator or congresscritter.
2. What ever happened to “free speech?” This is all about that, right? (all PC crap aside) If a company as large as Clear Channel knuckles under, what kind of example would that set ofr other media outlets?
3. Most broadcast news oriented companies love these kinds of controversies - gets them ratings.
I’ve been in the broadcast industry a long time and my estimation is that Rush will not be let go, no matter how much the liberal crybabies lie and cry. Just won’t happen, so don’t worry. Rush did nothing wrong or illegal to warrant his dismissal.
(PS - CBS let Imus go because they are SO in bed with the libs, it’s not funny. Likewise NBC. But I think he will come back as well).

This could be a blessing in disguise - it’s impossible to get the MSM to pay attention to stories like the phoney soldier issue de nova, but when their buddies fire the first round and they think they’ve got somebody like Rush in trouble, a strong, well-documented reply which shows what liars they are is also difficult to ignore, at least for a bit - Reid and his henchmen are apparently sending a letter of complaint someplace or other - an emphatic response from Limbaugh, maybe talking at first about how so many of the “soldiers” in John Kerry’s organization turned out not to have served and then going on to talk about some of the fakes running around today, should embarrass Reid no end.......

The criminal, rotten Left cannot stand the daylight of TRUTH about itself. It does not want ANYONE TO HEAR THE TRUTH about them...who and what they are, and what their agenda for America is. That realization is a reflection on the days of Stalin, Hitler and our own father of socialism, FDR. You have the power-mad socialist element, along with the criminality all rolled into the lefts’s campaign for 2008. And she does not want you to HEAR WHO AND WHAT SHE REALLY IS. And these totalitarian socialists are well funded with the perverted, demented likes of Soros, et al.
Rush, and the truth of talk radio, will be under attack, and we will be here to stand behind all of them.
