And to think that as Rush was playing his interview with Justice Thomas, truly a great American, Dingy Harry was spreading his filth and lies about Rush on the Senate floor. Just amazing!

Rush said that Dawn cried as she was transcribing.

This was a terrific interview of an extraordinary man.

I've ordered My Grandfather's Son and am looking forward to reading it---many times.

I actually was able to hear the interview this afternoon. I rarely get to hear Rush’s program.

I ordered the book this past weekend and it should be here in a couple of days, once they begin shipping.

Please ping me to any book report threads.

Thanks.

Thank you for the transcript. I was only able to listen to part of the interview.

How long before Krissie Matthews or Lard King has Anita Hill on to interview and let her start her crap all over again. Is she still teaching 3d grade in some low rent liberal district? /sarcasm still on

I think I’m going to have to read this book - there was so much meat just in this short interview.

Try this:

“in the spring of 1970 I was involved in a disturbance to free political prisoners in Cambridge. It was in April, mid-April 1970, and after I returned, I was very shaken by what I had just done. I was out of control and felt being almost manipulated by others with larger agendas.”

” I got back to Holy Cross campus in the wee hours of the morning, and I was in front of the chapel there on my way to breakfast, and I asked God to take the anger out of my heart and if He took it out of my heart, I would never hate again — and that was the beginning of the process of trying to be far more constructive in my life”

An outstanding interview ... I understand the 60 Minutes interview is also a must-see.

Watched the 60 minutes show on Sunday night;
based on that, I wondered why he would ever want to resurrect the Anita Hill situation from so many years ago by writing his bio.

Rush’s interview placed his credentals in perspective, as did he, with the background of his grandfather upbringing, and the humiliation of his confirmation process.

Good interview. Hope Hannity does him proud!

i think Thomas is a great american, and definately should be THE role model for african american youth (but also all american youth too). the inferiority complex of morons like ALL of the gangster rappers makes some african american youth think that all they are good for is being a gangster, while Men like justice Thomas break that complex and make people lift their aspirations from being a gangster to a truly great person.

Wonderful interview! The 60 minute interview was amazing too. I love this man. I wish he and his wife would hang out at MY local Walmart parking lot! LOL

Justice Thomas is an extraordinary man. Sometimes you can see evil at work in the world when true leaders and inspirations like Justice Thomas face a legion clawing at them to tear them down. If only those who claw and gnash their teeth would realize that they tear down not just the one they claw at but cast a generation of young children into the most horrible hell filled with hopelessness, bitterness, and victim hood for all for their politics sake.

Ted Kennedy is one of the most obtuse, unprincipled persons in Congress. He shouldn’t be in the Senate, and wouldn’t be if his name wasn’t Kennedy.

If you will recall, some of the idiotic “books” (e.g. Meyer/Abramson) accusing Thomas of the Anita Hill thing used as “evidence” his behavior in college. The funny thing is that he was basically a liberal in college. So, the response can be easily, to the charges, “yeah, Thomas behaved badly in college. Liberals do that, you know.”
