'NAFTA Superhighway stops here,' says Okla. senator
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 1, 2007 | Jerome R. Corsi

"The NAFTA Superhighway stops here, at the border with Oklahoma," Randy Brogdon, a Republican state senator who has championed the fight to keep the Trans-Texas Corridor out of Oklahoma, told a packed 300-person audience at the first public meeting of OK-SAFE in Tulsa on Saturday.

Oklahomans for Sovereignty and Free Enterprise, Inc. is a non-profit, Oklahoma corporation set up to oppose the NAFTA Superhighway and the North American Union, as threats to the sovereignty of the United States.

Brogdon objected to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America www.spp.gov, arguing that President Bush had entered the agreement after secret discussions with Mexico's then-president Vicente Fox and Canada's then-prime minister Paul Martin in Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005.

"President Bush has proven that he is more than willing to over-step his executive authority when it came to trade policy," Brogdon told the group.

"Ariticle 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution says, 'Congress shall have the Power to Regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States,' not the president," Brogdon pointed out. "Yet President Bush has entered into an agreement with Mexico and Canada called SPP that seeks to eliminate our trade and security borders and he has failed to get the explicit approval of Congress

"Quite a large amount of the CFR docs cite IJAB."

I wonder if Toddsterpatriot and 1rudeboy will rise to the bait?

I wouldn’t post back if they did.

I know you didn't wish for this, but nevertheless I consider that "my command

I did wish you would prove your assertion, too bad you failed again.

ps:(If you read these two articles, you might begin to see that Kansas City, MO is going to be a port of entry, with both U.S. and Mexican customs officials on site. Some goods will be flowing northward, and some southward, but essentially being "inspected" in KC MO)

I thought you said this info was at "their own website", what is this WND Corsi article going to prove? Let's see.

On May 16, Bonner addressed the Chamber of Commerce in Kansas City, saying the Mexican customs facility idea "could be enormously important to Kansas City and the surrounding area, and would – or should – facilitate trade for U.S. exporters by expediting the border clearance process for U.S. goods and products exported to Mexico." Bonner added that "If the Kansas City SmartPort is implemented, Kansas City could become a major new trade link between the U.S. and Mexico."

Nothing about goods entering the US without inspection.

Shipments will be pre-screened in Southeast Asia, and the shipper will send advance notification to Mexican and American Customs with the corresponding ''pre-clearance'' information on the cargo. Upon arrival in Mexico, containers will pass through multiple X-ray and gamma ray screenings, allowing any containers with anomalies to quickly be removed for further inspection.

Great, it looks like you proved my point. Thanks.

Now really, guys, this is something even a 10-year-old could do. If Designer can do it, then I know you could.

You mean prove the opposite of your original assertion? LOL!

And if you think I invented this, you're wrong.

Try again? Don't forget, "their own website".

Isn't it pathetic? Just as I wrote earlier . . . if he misspoke he should just admit it and move on. No one would care.

But the best he can do after his (undoubtedly frantic) Google search is two WND articles that he cannot quote directly? ROTFLMAO

I wish my intellectual opponents on this website held me to their standard.

I heard a guy on the radio say that this even helps Red China get through our country with their “goods” (or mischief) through southern part of Texas.

You should see the other thread I'm on. I've practically gotten a True Conservative™ to admit he won't "Buy American" because it's inconvenient. No surprise he's running for the tall grass also.

The entertainment value of these threads is priceless.

Even Corsi, in his book, does not argue that these Mexican (or Chinese) containers will arrive in Kansas City (or elsewhere) uninspected.

He fixates more on the fact that they're Mexican (and Chinese), and that they will bypass the ILWU ports in California.

It would be interesting to see if Corsi wrote the opposite in WND, since it would be rather clear then that he (and WND) was only engaging in a bit of yellow journalism to sell his book.

Some people won’t believe it unless they hear it on the national news.

We have our work cut out for us. (sigh)

For those who believe their own eyes, there are documents to back this up.

Hmm what is she holding in her right hand? Although you must admit, the fact she is sitting on liberty is very ironic ;-). Also notice the eagle is looking towards the weapons and not the olive branch...

Some people won’t believe it unless they hear it on the national news.

Conversely, some people believe everything they read.

They would arrive in KC uninspected. KC would be a US Customs inspection port

>>>Hmm what is she holding in her right hand?

I don’t know. There were a few different versions of them on the site selling them.

http://www.amerocurrency.com/support.html

I went to the US Mint and didn’t seem them there. I went to Snopes to see if it was a joke and they have posted that these coins are being made by a private manufacturer.

But the coins are stamped minted (D). So I don’t know what to make of it.

US Mint Stamp is more visible in this photo:

Letter D means it was minted in the Denver Mint Facility

“Conversely, some people believe everything they read.”

They should believe their own eyes when they see the documents.

But even then, some of you will only believe liberal tv. Then it becomes “real” for you.

Glad some smart Canadians are on this:

“MONDAY OCTOBER 1, 2007 9:00 PM PT - CONNIE FOGAL - When we talk about the coming North American Union, most Americans aware of the plan are appalled. But our major media is not exactly forthcoming on this issue. The real story is in what they’re not saying. But what about Canadians? What is their media saying about this? And those who are aware of the plan to combine all three nations— what do they think about it? Find out when Connie Fogal head of the Canadian Action Party joins me this hour. John McManus of JBS suggested Connie after meeting her outside the latest SPP meetings in Quebec. Check her and the CAP out here.” (CAP link can be obtained from link below.)

Too bad President Bush is pushing this so hard, but he’s a globalist, just like his dad.

That’s what you have yet to understand, my friend. The documents I’ve seen lead me to the opposite conclusion. And no one on your side of the argument can even be bothered to prove otherwise.
