Thank you, Fox news for your Fox News Alert! I was just heading down to the post office with my check for Newt/2008 for president. Now I can just tear up the check...it’s almost better than Geico, I just saved a bundle.

I watched some of the kickoff of his “Solutions” gig thursday night......it’s the old “gotta work together” (dem/rep, lib/cons, etc) bit that I’ve seen too many times in contrasting-agenda organizations doing the kumbaya thing.......it usually turns out to be thesis + antithesis = synthesis, and the evil advances.

Thompson offered him a spot in his administration. There are cabinet level offices Newt would be great in...Just a thought.

He would have been the dems’ dream opponent. No. That would be Giuliani, who would utterly destroy the GOP for a generation.

So I geuss he didn’t get the 30 million he said he needed. Maybe he should have asked Oral Roberts for advise on how to raise multi millions. LOL!

I like the Reagan model better.
First you unite social and fiscal conservatives within the GOP, into a strong, winning coalition. Second, then you get elected to office advancing a conservative agenda. Third, then you impliment a strong conservative agenda based on a mandate from the people.
Newt seems as though he wants to appeal to Democrats before he appeals to Republicans.

The final word, is never the final word.
IMO, Newt would be smart not to run.<<
I suspect he got told he’s better off as Fred’s VP.
