Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards said if he wasnt elected president, the population of African-American males is likely to either wind up in prison or dead.
At an MTV/MySpace.com forum Thursday, Edwards responded to a question about inner-city kids partaking in violence by saying there was no silver bullet to fight the problem.
We start with the president of the United States saying to America, we cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating pretty soon were not going to have a young African-American male population in America. Theyre all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.

Now if that isn’t a racist statement, I don’t know what is. There are only two possible outcomes for the lives of young black males, death or prison and this rich, white boy is their only hope. Because, as any good rich, white liberal knows, blacks are incapable of making anything of their lives without them.

Thank you for saying that. The Great Society and Demonratic Party absolutely destroyed the family structure of the Black community by making the men irrelevant.
It’s so heartbreaking.
And now we have to listen to bleeding hearts tell us that we NEED illegals to do construction and landscaping jobs while able bodied Black men who could do quite well if they had steady work in construction are committing crimes to get by because they are native born and come with taxes and workers compensation requirements. It’s sick, really. And Black “leaders” don’t see those facts and lead their people to the Republicans, who actually freed them from slavery!

"U.S. 16A northbound wraps around itself and passes under the bridge shown above. Note the use of wooden arches to support the bridge. Photo taken 09/03/04. Passing through another pigtail bridge is this understructure, which does not feature wooden arches. The Left is losin' it. Hope this isn't a re-post, but lordy-lordy, first this guy promises to get Christopher Reeves to walk and now to keep African Americans out of jail or dead.
If we only had more federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, all of those things would be fixed! Pray-zuh Ed-wuds! Ah, yes-uh!

The racial divide between black and Hispanic is growing when it comes to employment. So-called "black" leaders point towards this outdated concept of a well-organized white (and Republican) aristocracy trying to disenfranchise them at every turn, when paternalistic white liberals, illegal aliens and disingenuous employers are really to blame.
Hmm...When I think about it, maybe the white elites really are disenfranchising lower-class black Americans--by encouraging the flood of poorly educated, unskilled illegals into the U.S.

That's a great talking point. And cnn and msnbc smeared O'Reilly about a restaurant... where's the outrage on Edwards' prediction? Talk about a condemnation.

Check this out from the NY Slimes:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/28/us/politics/28edwards.html
...the students in the auditorium stuck stubbornly to questions on policy issues ranging from higher education to the violence in Darfur.
Youve mentioned universal health care, one student said. How are you going to implement that and make sure it runs smoothly?
Another asked, What would you do to help eliminate inner-city kids from partaking in violence?
Mr. Edwards was the first presidential candidate to participate in such a venue in this election cycle. (The hourlong forum was also to be broadcast on MTV last night.)
No mention of the response.

He is not losing it.The Democrats all believe this, the System is the problem.Only a workers Revolution, led by the enlightened elite is the “movements” ,only hope.Kinda ironic that the Reds used street criminals and bank robbery to finance a portion of the Revolution in Russia.Divide and conquer, repeat the most outrageous lies, and the proletariat will believe enough of it to throw their “useful idiot” votes
and empower them into their jets and mansions, while we till the fields in our reeducation camps.
