Your post reminds me of the turtle and the rabbit story.
He will win.
If Hillary does I am moving out of CONUS.
I want to see Fred debate. Is he ever gonna bother?
Maybe when there is an actual debate to participate in.
You might be right. It certainly looks like Fred, aka Southern Fried Reagan, is starting to heat up. I think the debates will either make or break him.
bump!
“My personal feeling from reading posts of many Rudy supporters on other forums is that many feel that he is the only candidate who can beat Hillary and will be the strongest candidate in the WOT, and that moving the Republican party further to the center will get more votes from dems and independents who are more centrist.”
I agree with what you said above, but the DEM debate this past Wednesday has changed things. After hearing for so long from the DEMS that the “war is lost”, and how they would “pull out now” if elected, we now know they won’t say they would be out of Iraq by 2013! The DEMS are now sounding like the Republicans on the war issue! Does this mean that by the time the election comes around, that the war issue will take a back seat and the immigration/border security will be the “big” issue? If so, the DEMS don’t have a prayer of winning with their stance on illegal immigration/border security!!
“Do we like his (Rudy’s) views on social issues? No we dont. Are we comfortable with every aspect of the mans personal life? No, but hes right on the WOT and most economic issues.”
Yes, he is right on the War On Terror. But now, the DEMS are saying they can’t committ to pulling troops out of Iraq by 2013! Since the DEMS now sound like the Republicans on the war issue, we may see another issue come to the top of the “issue list”. On the immigration issue, Rudy is with the DEMS and the majority of Americans are not.
We’ve added FRED’08 decals to the fenders of our car that we dragrace with, and a rearbumper sticker is visible to those we’re whuppin’!!
Adding a few to the trailer this weekend as well.
It’s pretty easy to determine who’s on the right side of the way to fight the WOT -
just ask, who would the terrorist leaders rather face, Fred or Rudy, or Hillary?
As for voting for Rudy or not (I’m a Fred man myself),
I’ll vote for ANYONE* that is on the ticket opposite Hillary.
*Since Hillary is damn near the devil himself, this would be the only exception.
Not just here. I see it with many RINO women who despise conservatives on social issues. These are RINO women who for whatever reason associated with republicans (husbands family, etc) They don’t really care about the war on terror in all sincerity, they just want to push out anyone of religious value because they view the Republican party as not about principles or values but about being in a schoolyard clique for mere popularity contests.
I think he’s popular right now among many Republicans because he’s the “not a Mormon” and “not Rudy” and “not McCain” candidate (i.e., he’s popular by default).
We’ll see if his popularity continues when he enters the debates, if he does.

I will also support the Republican candidate no matter whom it is. Rudy is not a real conservative so I would not vote for him in the primary. I am also a Fred supporter but also love Duncan Hunter. Thompson/Hunter would be wonderful as far as I am concerned. :)
“and that moving the Republican party further to the center will get more votes from dems and independents who are more centrist.”
Because kissing the ass of your enemies has always been a successful tactic for victory, right?
“Ill never understand the republicans in NY whom support Rudy, and wouldnt dare think of supporting Fred!?”
Most people don’t read F.R. New Yorkers, in particular, would rely on the NYPost or the like, which, as is their wont, support the hometown boy.
Fred is too late...all the pundits told me so. They couldn't be wrong, they line in DC and NYC!
NYC effetes for a NYC effete.
look at where the reporters is located and that will tell the tale.
If the story has to be cleared through the NYC AP, it will be scrubbed to favor the NYC candidate.
