On this afternoon's "Tucker," the eponymous host was discussing with Dem strategist Peter Fenn and former Dem congressman Tom Andrews [a grown-up among liberals, IMHO] the unwillingness of the leading GOP presidential contenders to participate in the debate moderated by Tavis Smiley, billed as addressing issues of concern to black Americans.
On the one hand, Carlson criticized the Republicans' reticence. On the other, he flashed anger at the way Dems play the race card. He concluded with a particularly tantalizing comment.
View video here.
TUCKER CARLSON: I do think the Democrats ought to stop calling everybody who disagrees with them racists. I mean what the hell is that? It's so immoral to say that. It's such a horrible thing to call someone a racist. Why dare not Tucker speaketh the name? If Carlson is as outraged by the tactics as he appeared to be, if he and Fenn and no doubt others know "exactly" who Tucker's talking about, why not put it out there? Dems have never been shy in naming, for example, the late Lee Atwater for his campaign tactics.
PETER FENN: I'm not calling them racists.
CARLSON: I don't think you are. You know exactly who does. There are consultants in your party who have made a living for 40 years -- you know exactly who I'm talking about -- you know -- I dare not speaketh the name, but anyway, they do it every time.
Who’s the Dem consultant who calls Republicans racist? Tucker won’t tell. Ping to Today show list.
Does it matter who it is? It’s straight from their playbook and any hack can execute the play.
Good point, though if the offender could be “outed” perhaps it would make him think twice in the future.
Doesn’t matter to me. I know who the racists are, and they mostly reside on the left.
It’s simply a matter of projection and manipulation. Wasn’t it Lenin who innured the thought of conquering America by fomenting racial unrest?
What party benefits every election from these “racist” accusations?
Just my random thoughts.
Donna Brazille. The word "the" instead of "his" or "her" was a dead giveaway.
Regards,
LH
Good insight. But has Donna been around for forty years?
I guess if the Donkey Party continues to pay these consultants millions of dollars a year to tell them what they want to hear, I guess you have to wonder who would rock the boat? What job has that kind of stability these days?
I was thinking Carville/Begala.
Thirty-plus. She started out w/ Jimmah Carter.
In their heart of hearts, libs truly believe Republicans are racist. Several years ago I was at a hotel in DC where a GOP group was holding an event. One of the attendees was standing outside the door talking to a young black man, and one of my lib/D friends said “that’s [talking to a black] probably a first for him.”
Who is the one that doesn't?
It seems to be Tucker's MO. He has the opportunity to say something important. When Tucker opens his mouth you can turn the sound off and listen to a crickets chirping track on your ipod. Has he EVER said anything of merit? Empty words from an empty suit talking head.
Thanks for watching and reporting, Mark. You provide a valuable service. Thanks for the ping. Thanks very much.
My pleasure, PG. I’m truly stumped as to why Tucker wouldn’t tell.
Heck it’s not like there’s only one.
The DimoKlan has multitudes of stooges who have been
telling the Big Lie that Republicans are racists as a political tactic for the last 45 years. With the exception of Carlson, and the inclusion of that scumball liar Joe Scarborough, who for the last few days, has purposely used the out of context quotes of O’Reilly, to defame him as a racist, and FNC as well, and just keeps repeating it over and over again, with his stooge DNC hack, and that baby killing, lying drunkie Demboslut “co-hosts”.
It’s a lyin DemoPervert pile on, by all the lying Left Stream Media, to lie their competition into ineffectiveness so that they can go back to pushing their pervo degenerate DemoLiberal poisoned pablum like the Pravda apparatchick
souless turds that they are.
It’s a very good bet that Tucker Carlson was referring to Democratic Consultant Bob Shrum, who was the author of many of their “class and racial warfare” campaign themes. Although he hasn’t been around for 40 years, he could also be referring to James Carville, but more likely he was talking about Shrum.
I don’t know the name Tucker alludes to, but playing the race card can’t possibly be limited to just one democrat strategist. Think about it.
MSNBC is playing the race card against O’Reilly. Labeling him racist, and by association, FOX NEWS is racist too. MSNBC has launched a nasty smear campaign against O’Reilly and FOX News. At the heart of it = the race card.
Not sure whether to add five points or deduct five points for using the word “eponymous”.
“Eponymous” is a bit pretentious I suppose but really does come in handy in this situation.
