This can’t be easy for Duncan Hunter, he may not have the numbers but he really shouldn’t be stuck with this crowd.
Stuck with this crowd? This crowd is probably more conservative then the crowd that isn’t here, unless you consider McCain,Giuliani,Romney and Paul as more conservative. As for Thompson he hasn’t been with ANY crowd yet !!!
“”Stuck with this crowd? This crowd is probably more conservative then the crowd that isnt here,””
My Saturday night beer drinking group is to the right of the whole stage, but I wouldn’t want my Representative that I respect ( which is Duncan)to have to debate us all as we fought for the bottom of the 2 per centers.
Well MY Saturday night beer drinking group would give him a damn good debate. You guys just can’t handle your booze that’s all !!!
..DH will be facing the toughest audience to date—a group of Marxists
Just think before 1920 our Saturday night guys would be choosing the candidates, and tonights debaters would be seen as mostly moderates compared to what else would be in the race.
Give ‘em hell, Duncan!
(I mean the “journalists.”)
BTTT
I think those lucky enough to have 5 minutes or less are looking pretty good.
In truth this won’t be a widely viewed debate, however it could be one of the better ones and I’m going to tune in at least for a while. I like the idea that Hunter and Tancreado might actually get a chance to say something, which they didn’t get in the previous debates !!!
Should we call this the “Also Ran” debate??

Tom Joyner welcoming us to the event. My dear friend and collegue Tavis Smiley. I salute each of you participating. We may not agree on all the issues, but of an evening like this. Whether you’re pro-life or pro-choice, for the war in Iraq or against, for Kanye West or 50 Cent... (snicker)
Joyner talks of Jena. (sigh)
“Joyner talks of Jena. (sigh)”
Bravo Sierra!
What a complete waste of time.
