They don't even know that the nationality is SLOVAK, not Slovakian, and this is NOT eastern Europe. It is the exact center of Europe.
I can’t imagine many, if any, normal Slovaks moving to the UK. I do, however, see many Brits moving to Slovakia !

I suppose I could also have said "British" but perhaps the Slovaks now regard themselves as British also?

Some Slovaks are white / Caucasian, and some others are darker-skinned.....no matter which way I would have said it, I knew somebody was going to call me on it, so I followed the Daily Mail's lead.

I wasn't aware of the "Italians as mortal enemies of stoats" thing....I suppose I never got the memo on that one.  I've always revered Ladies as the Crown of Creation and the Light of the Universe, but Italian Ladies....now they will frequently exhibit a 'particular, atomic-powered vivaciousness' that causes me to simply melt.  Have you never seen a molten stoat?  It's not a pretty sight, but it's smiling   :-)

Well, if that stoat was offended at having an airmail delivery of a ravioli, he must have been ill or something....if I were to be given a ravioli, I would be extremely appreciative.  I suppose if the ravioli were thrown REALLY HARD at his head, he could become dazed momentarily and not realize that it's ITALIAN FOOD that we're talking about here, easily one of the Primary Wonders of the Universe.

No one is attacking YOUR Slovak friends. ...that is, unless you automatically consider the thugs mentioned in this article to be your 'friends' merely because of where they come from?  I think quite highly of Americans....until they start acting like thugs.  Then I disown them.  Considering someone your 'friend' merely because of where they come from speaks volumes to your notion of 'friendship'.
