Nice to see that the “likely voters” break away from Guilianni. Makes sense in a conservative party.

"Perhaps more significantly, Fred now leads Rudy by 15 points among "conservative GOP voters". They are the ones most likely to vote in a primary."Sorry to bug ya, but are any of the big and early Republican primaries open ones? Can Democrats cross over and throw a lot of votes to say, Ron Paul?

I wonder if Duncan Hunter shows better results when the “likely voter” parameter is used. My bet is that he does, since the more likely voters are more conservative and more politically educated than the less likely voters.

Ron Paul must not have been an option. We all know he’s secretly ahead.

Fred 27%, Rooty 21%. That will fluctuate some.

In before any whiny not voting for Rudy is voting for Hillary posts. One of my friends (who is a bit on the liberal side and thinks Rudy is going to win) said it pretty good the other day on why he thought Rudy would win.

Impossible! Fred started too late, and he’s lazy, and he wears fancy shoes, and he’s got a trophy wife, and he’s got cancer and...
Ha! Don’t bother the pundits with those inconvenient facts!
Fred Thompson ‘08!

My bet is that he does, since the more likely voters are more conservative and more politically educated than the less likely voters. I wish I could give an answer, but unfortunately, I've never been able to find any "internals" on a Rasmussen release -- the only info publicly available is in the articles that they publish. I imagine more details are available to paying subscribers. :)
