Looks like the city of Irving, TX has been quitely deporting criminal illegals and is now receiving critisim from the local press. Go to the website and watch the reporter talk about "ripping" families apart for no good reason. The deportations are for "criminal" illegals.

The criminal alien program was unanimously approve by the Irving City Council earlier this year. The program is intended to control illegal immigration problems in that city by deporting criminals.

So, the real community leaders, those elected by the people, by the community itself, voted for this measure UNANIMOUSLY.

The people crying now are clearly not "community leaders" except in their own, and the liberal media's eyes.

The number of those who have been deported so far this year is about 1,000 more than were deported in all of 2006. Mayor Gears said he believes Irving leads the nation in the number of deportations

The number one offense that illegal immigrants are being arrested for is driving with a suspended license, according to Irving Mayor Herbert Gears.

As far as I know, Texas is not a state that issues licenses to illegals so how did they get the licenses in the first place?

September 24, 2007 -- nine states allow drivers' licenses for illegal aliens.

It really is time that citizens use their Constitutional rights to protest these folks who advocate the breaking of our laws and advocate that our govt leaders turn a blind eye to this law breaking. I think people should protest (peacefully) in front of their homes and businesses. In addition, if they own businesses boycott them, and encourage others to do so.

I live in Irving, TX and we have such problems in this town — it’s about time they started cracking down on the illegals. I live around the corner from the driver’s license office and I can tell you they are lined up with their fake ID’s every day to get licenses - the bigger problem is driving without insurance - now they take the car if they don’t have insurance. Anyway the illegals are rallying tonight at Irving City Hall at 7:00 PM to demand a change - I say it’s a perfect time to round up some more! They feel it is racial profiling - well in a city where they are now the majority - doesn't’t look like profiling to me!
