Let the NYPD offer to take him to Ground Zero in the evening - tell him he needs to be discrete about his visit. When he agrees, haul him off to a gay bar and get lots of pictures with the headline "Ahmadinejad having a great time in New York". That ought to endear him to the religious leaders in Iran.
That is exactly what I hear from my Iranian friends.

To hear one of my Iranian friends tell it, he wants us to bomb the place back to the stone age. ;o)
However, the Iranians who live there don't want us to interfere militarily.
I hope they can take care of this mess themselves, with any support they might accept from us.

I agree with this. They will have to suffer to the point where they can’t take it anymore.
