Thanks for posting this. Of course, we’ll still have people complaining that they don’t know Fred’s positions on the issues and therefore can’t support him. Sigh.
My only advice to FRed is regards enhancing the Intelligence Community.

Really? I thought he was a federalist? Where exactly is the enumerated constitutional power that allows the national government to have ANY say in anything to do with education - except in the military?

More top-down statist nonsense, with the federal government firmly in control of all the power.
Simply get the federal government out of their unconstitutional role in education, and let us keep our education dollars at home where they belong - instead of sending them to Washington so they can run them through the bureaucracy and send a tiny percentage back to us with strings attached.

How does legal immigration "promote unity"? There are lots of things legal immigration does, but this doesn't seem like one of them.

We've heard these same sort of inspecific nothings from the current occupant of the WH and from the Gingrich/Armey wing of the party for years. What they're really telling you is that they're not going to do much of anything at all except tinker around the edges of the current system. Bleh.
Are you aware of any specific proposal by Thompson to reduce the size of the federal government? What I saw in the post looks like he is proposing a more open, efficient socialism than what we have now.
