I believe you have to print alleged until after there has been a conviction in court. The only time you must use the word "alleged" is when directly referring to the persons involved until there is a conviction, not the act itself.
This was not an "alleged" anything.....it was 5 kids beating on one kid. When naming persons of interest they would be labelled "alleged attackers."
