Anyone know where I can find an audio or video stream of Ahmadinejad's appearance at columbia? Blan on blogging it I can find one.
The people who spent 444 days as hostages say it was him. I’ll take their word for it.
Dear Ahmawhackoff,
We will be most happy to accept your invitation for a “visit” to your country at a date of our choosing in the not-so-distant future. Would you prefer a B-2 that you never see or a cruise missile that you never see as our first moment’s “greeting” to you?
Sincerely,
US Air Force
US Naval Air Wings
US Cruise Missile Launch Teams
I'm not able to watch, just reading the live thread, but several people have made a similar comment.
I can't say for sure without hearing what you're hearing, but I wouldn't necessarily judge the translator too harshly. A good translator is *supposed* to not only translate the words but must also capture the spirit and emotion of the speaker. Delivering merely the words in a deadpan could give a wrong perception about the intent of the speaker.
Just my .02
As I understand the setup, they would have been shot if they had tried it.
I don’t have any problems with Ahmadinejad speaking (I have a problem with what he says). His own words will be used against him when we take action.
The Iranian people are not going to see the entire parade.
However AMERICANS will and that is a good thing.
The only way you could say that is if you are totally ignorant of what is going on in Iran - Bollinger spoke the truth - Ahmadinejad refused to directly answer any question - it was pure unbridled propaganda. So you think Mr. "There are no homosexuals in Iran" is the big winner. Even if the truth hurts - it should not be considered an insult.
He delivered his words in a deadpan. She added emphasis and emotion on her own. It was very obvious.
CNN Allan Chernoff focusing on the “we have no homosexuals remark”
that is what the MSM will take away from this.
Probably why Bush ultimately allowed him to come here.
Ahmadinejad just won this one. Bollinger made a big mistake insulting him at the beginning. It just made Ahmadinejad a victim. He should never have been invited.

Ahmadinejad would have won no matter what happened on that stage. Anything would have been twisted to construe “America bad.!”
Bollinger looked like a fool, to me, sounding so tough (for the purposes of calming his alumni and major donors), in an introduction to an invited guest. Just weird!
yes, I know one or two have said they think it’s him. I think if the two pics were put side by side it might show it’s not him. The pic of the hostages isn’t as clear as the Nutjob pics today are though.
I saw a pic of Nutjob last night on a thread here, he was younger looking and did not resemble the hostage-taker in the hostage pic..I’ll see if I can find it and post a link to that thread...
You are absolutely right on that. Nutjob's voice almost never changed tone and the translator sounded like Cindy Sheehan at full screech.
Bollinger's grandstanding was to cover his own butt, not to lambast Ahmadinejad. It will be perceived as an insult to not only Ahmadinejad, but also the people of Iran. He is still a chief of state. He should never have been invited.
Of course, lets worry more about the gays feelings being hurt then our soldiers being killed by that lil nut funding attacks against them.
He always looks like he is straining to take a good BM.
Let me get this, the wacko says that no gays have been left alive in Iran?? A little harsh, don’t you think?
As for the audience, I thought I saw women.
Anyone else see ladies in the audience?
[deny the holocaust - get a pass
deny the gays - might be his downfall with the libtards]
I wonder if the libs will make a big deal of this or if Ahmanutjob’s words will be glossed over and ignored.
Here’s a link to some recent executions:

OK...I’m in late, but I heard about 20 seconds of Ahmadinjihad and it struck me that no Ivy League school would allow a Christian to come in and speak with so many religious references without some sort of counter point.
