“I always enjoyed his stuck-in-a-box routine.”
- I read somewhere that Mrs. Marceau used to boast that Marcel perfected his in-a-box routine by making love to her standing up.

Will his death prompt a “Moment of Non-silence” from the mimes in San Francisco?

So. . . what is more interesting:
A mime pretending to be trapped in a box or
A mime actually trapped in a box?

Wish there were a lot more people as “unique” as Marceau.. there are several millions of us who talk too much and have nothing to say...Bye now
To: Argentine-Firecracker

He was French and so that's all you need to speak ill of him. Here's a bit of his bio...
Marcel Mangel (stage name Marcel Marceau) was born on March 22, 1923, in Strasbourg, Alsace, France. He changed his family name to Marceau when his Jewish family was forced to flee their home at the beginning of the Second World War. His father, a kosher butcher, was deported to Auschwitz, where he was killed in 1944. Both Marceau and his brother Alain were in the French underground, helping children to escape to safety in neutral Switzerland. Then Marceau served as interpreter for the Free French Forces under General Charles de Gaulle.
What in your life compares to this?

Au revoir, Marcel. Thank you for all the laughs.
Thank you for the moments of awe and delight.
Go peacefully to God, and may you find a place there with Him.

So did six million others as they walked into the gas chambers.
I wonder what would have happened if six million would have risen up during “Crystal Night” and started shooting those brown shirted bastards.

A mime pretending to be trapped in a box or
A mime actually trapped in a box? Not only trapped in a box, but buried in a mime field.
