Yours and mine. Not as far fetched as it seems at first blush. The extent of unthinkably violent "repression and suppression" depicted in this real photo of the Bassiji "police" may not reach America nor Europe tomorrow but will be a logical conclusion to the events unfolding now. All pointing in that direction as we hesitate and waffle, hoping the nightmare will go away when we awake.

Mackinac Island directed to Columbia University.
“To host the leader of Iran when he supports terrorists
that are movingdeadly roadside bombs across the Iraqi border
to be used against American troops is a slap in the face
for the entire 165,000 men and women in Iraq
and to those that have served before them,” said Hunter.

If President Lee Bollinger follows through with this
hosting of the leader of Iran,
I will move in Congress to cut off every single type of
Federal Funding to Columbia University.
If the left-wing leaders of academia will not support our
troops, they, in the very least, should not support our
adversaries.”
“This event, following the slanderous action of
MoveOn.org, depicting General Petraeus as
“General Betray Us,” in the New York Times represents the emergence of the ectreme left-wing
in American politics.”
Concluding, “I think it is time for the Democrat party to denounce this fringe element in their party,” said Hunter.
“If the left-wing leaders of academia will not support our
troops, they, in the very least, should not support our
adversaries.”

“Islamofascism is what it is, and they are telling us every day what their plans are. Hell, Ahmadinejad just today said, “If Israel launches anything, we’re going to destroy ‘em.” He keeps talking about wiping out Israel. Do you know that there was an accident? We have information here that Syria is working with Iran and perhaps North Korea on nukes, and the Israelis took a hit on whatever that installation is. The nuke aspect hasn’t been confirmed. Let me find this later on in the stack. There’s one other thing that some wacko in Iran has said about what’s going to happen on the end of Ramadan, which is October the 12th. Yeah, here we go. The UN session, the General Assembly opens up next week and it’s time for a new round of speeches. So perhaps Pelosi can get together with them there, or have them down to Washington for dinner or something, or maybe a joint address to Congress. Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad! It’s been a year since the sulfur speech of Hugo Chavez. This is correct, Mr. Snerdley. Time flies, does it not, on this show and everywhere else? Look, these are thugs. These are totalitarians dictators, and they see Pelosi and Kucinich and these other people for what they are: rubes, idiots, people that can be lied to; people that can be jacked around; people that can be used and manipulated. Is that picture frat week rush at Columbia or the latest A.N.S.W.E.R. rally?
The US should disallow terrorists like Amaddernutjob entry into the US. But, since this is apparently not the case, then it is up to citizens such as University Presidents to not roll out the red carpet. He should be persona non grata at the very least he should be a pariah.
