Rudy Giuliani scored a hit with conservative activists

He did?

I think Bob Novak's been hit with something...

Here's another look at the speech.

I keep going back and forth about Rudy, but he may be the only candidate with enough of the NY Attitude to counter the Hillary.

Novak is an inside the beltway guy

Rooty is an inside the beltway guy

No surprise Novak thinks he knows what conservatives are thinking

Everything Novak thinks is filtered though the muck covered glasses pressitutes wear in DC.

Guiliani also scored a PR COUP with his planned cellphone NRA interuption.

That is all they covered. NOT the other candidates.

Guiliani disses the NRA and gets the headline.

also the documentary channel is showing SIX HOURS of free guilianiland documentary over and over.

Considering Duncan Hunter held up the ad and smashed MoveOn.org and the libs in his opening statement to the hearing that very morning, it’s not exactly Rudy leading the pack.

Thompson's agents encountered a cool reception at a gathering of conservatives this week who were high on Rudy Giuliani.

Where was this? Novak is a moron for not telling us. But maybe he can't 'cause it's a stretched truth? Or maybe not true at all?

Rudy Giuliani scored a hit with conservative activists by getting ahead of his Republican presidential competitors in blasting Sen. Hillary Clinton for not denouncing MoveOn.org's attack on Gen. David Petraeus.

This would move him to lead my VP list. The VP candidates job is to bite into the opposition with pit bull precision. Though, my favorites would be Zell Miller, Tommy Franks, Duncan Hunter or JC Watts.

Giuliani caught the spirit of Republican rage over the left-wing MoveOn.org’s full-page ad in The New York Times.

Novak nails it.

Rudy dominated the news cycle, and justifiably so.

A single only gets you to first base. And I doubt conservative activists were praising Rooty. More like inside the beltway liberal RudyBoosters.

Wow, I had no idea LaHood was a socialist scumbag.
Then I read that he was Bob Michel’s toady. That probably explains it.

Thompson's personalized letter asserts that "as long as our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have hope and optimism, we should too" but does not take a position on President Bush's war policy. Rejecting Bush's stand on immigration, Thompson says: "We cannot effectively solve our problem with legal immigration until our borders are secured." The letter quotes Ronald Reagan but does not mention George W. Bush.

Good! Just shows he can push his own policies without trying to pander to the BDS crowd.
