"I am absolutely disgusted at the arrogance of those Senators who freely disregard the will of the American people by their support of massive amnesty for illegal aliens. They have willfully ignored the mistakes of the 1986 amnesty bill, in order to feed the corporate special interests and appease the Hispanic lobby!"
Congressman Tancredo needs your help to stop the Senate from passing the Dream Act.
Send a fax to your Senator today!
Or call the Capitol Hill Switchboard at 202-224-3121.

The Repubs had better man up and stop the invasion. The Libs will savor the influx of new voters and give up our security for 30 pieces of silver.

Read the whole amendment. It’s a disaster.
Full student loans, if they have an application pending they can’t be deported, no numerical maximums, all sorts of exemptions to the rules for “hardships,: you have to be here permanently, except when you are not for 180 days, except when you need more time in a “hardship.:
Incredible!

Is anyone running against Lindsey Graham in the republican primary next year? I figure a good, rich challenger who pounds the drum on the immigration issue could give Graham a run for his money.

According to numbersUSA, Graham, Isakson, and Chambliss, are going to vote against the “Dream Act.” Quite a switch from when they first wheeled out the “Comprehensive Immigration Bill.” Eventually, after they got an earfull from their constituents, Isakson and Chambliss voted no. It’s taking Graham a lot longer to come around, but maybe he sees that he better change his ways before 2008.

Cornyn’s (TX) staffers says he will vote no, at least the way the bill reads now. Durbin is willing to give up some of his “Dream” to get it passed now. For example, he says he can change it so that there are age limits.
Of course, that’s not good enough for me. I don’t want then to get their foot in the door....

Pansy can’t be trusted regardless how he votes. Replacement with a true conservative is necessary.

>>Sen. Richard J. Durbin, trying to win support to pass his proposal to give legal status to illegal aliens who go to college or join the military, said yesterday he has dropped from his plan a mandate for in-state tuition rates and is promising to impose an age limit to cut the number of people who would be eligible.<<
Here is the thread about what Durbin might do to get his "Dream" passed in the senate.

All those amnesty-pushing senators were really hard to bear. I cringe when I think of Graham’s performance, which should get some kind of award for being outstandingly obnoxious and arrogant.

Earlier this week, both Isakson and Chambliss were probably going to vote for this. Chambliss was once again selling Georgians down the river by “negotiating” with a leftist on how to ram this through.
We FReeped ‘em good, and kicked them back into line, though. I do NOT like having to force these jerks to do the right thing all the time, though.
