This explains everything. One Democrat became angry with me for using the word “Democrats”. He said he hated when people used that word because it sounded derogatory. That made no sense to me at all. Now I understand why.
They also got the MSM to change their representation on voting maps from Red to Blue. It’s only been this way for the last couple elections and it is only NOW that they call states “Red” or “Blue”.
But we aren’t supposed to remember these things.
Democrats, Democratic... either way you look at it, they are all just RATS!
Just to tick them off more, ask them what do they call themselves in a group. I asked several democrats just that.
"If you are in a meeting, are you a group of democratics?"
That will make them spit nails.

It’s not any historic reference that they’re ashamed of.
It’s the here and now. Just like communism/socialism/liberalism/progressivism - the label comes to mean what it is referring to.
The Democrats are like any other group that exhibits behaviors that are sub-par. They keep changing their label because everyone eventually associates the label with the behavior.
So, if they are of the Democratic party, does it not follow they should be called Democratics?
