Jena Six Case Highlights Need to Investigate Evidence of Racism Everywhere (MLK's pro-life niece)
Christian News Wire ^ | September 18, 2007

Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., commented today on the Jena Six case in Louisiana, where six African American high school students involved in a fight with white students have been charged with crimes that could send them to prison for decades. Critics of the prosecutions, citing racial segregation at the school and discriminatory prosecution of only the black students involved in the fight, are asking the Justice Department to investigate.

"The call to investigate the Jena Six prosecutions is legitimate," said Dr. King. "There's clear evidence in the case that officials need to examine for discriminatory practices, from the nooses strung from a tree that helped provoke the fight to the vast difference in the severity of treatment given to white and black participants."

"There's other evidence of racism in our nation, though, that also troubles me to the core and that also demands investigation," added Dr. King. "The abortion industry kills black babies at an alarmingly high and disproportionate rate, it situates its clinics primarily in minority neighborhoods, and it has eliminated one-quarter of the African American population. Abortionists don't wear hoods, but one has to wonder how the results of the abortion industry's practices would be much different if they did. Black babies are being denied their fundamental right to live and it's time to find out why the people who profit from abortion in this country seem to be targeting African Americans."

Actually, the true facts are the following:

Mychael Bell, a black student, hit a white student from behind just after lunch, and 6 other black students surrounded the white student so that neither STUDENTS nor TEACHERS could come to the aid of the white student.

The white student was rendered unconscious by the first blow and lay helpless as the other 6 were involved.

One of the seven had been arrested the prior Friday night in an attack of three blacks on one white person at the Gotta-Go-Grocery store (this was Robert Bailey, Jr).

The reason this is known as the JENA 6 story is that only six of the seven where charged with FELONY CRIMINAL CHARGES.

In one of Margaret Sanger's early books, she advocated birth control policies to eliminate, BLACKS, CATHOLICS, and INDIANS (native Americans) from the US Population (i.e., cause their extinction).

However, people like Jesse Jackson have been the pawn of the Abortion Industry...

Actually, the white student was rendered unconscious by the very first blow. Seven black students formed a barrier so that no one could help the innocent victim while he lay helpless on the ground -- as he was being beaten.

One of the seven had been arrested the previous Friday night.

Criminal charges were only brought against six of the seven...

The fact that this case makes national headlines, highlights the fact that such incidents are quite rare in today’s America.

The accuracy is the following:

One black student hit a white student from behind so hard after lunch that he was immediately unconsious. Six other black students formed a barrier so that neither students or teachers could come to the aid of the student.

I imagine there was also fighting between those trying to get to the student and the Jena 7 (only six were charged criminally). It is known as the Jena 6 because only 6 were charged with assault/attempted murder.

This was the first day back from school after it was proven that arson caused a fire in the school (November 30, 2006). This event occurred on December 4, 2006.

There was a quote in one of her early books that her goal was to TOTALLY eliminate BLACKS, CATHOLICS, and INDIANS (native Americans). But I believe she used the term NEGROS in lieu of BLACKS.

Part of the plan of Margaret Sanger and others were to use BLACK Ministers to further their plans to reduce the black population in the country.

I believe this is documented in her book:

The Pivot of Civilization, which is by Margaret Sanger. The organization against Planned Parenthood (pro-life organization STOPP) had this book online at one time...

Here is a reference that backs up what I say:

The Negro Project

The Negro Project was designed by Dr. Clarence Gamble and Margaret Sanger to use contraception to cut down on the number of black babies being born. In a December 10, 1939 letter, Margaret Sanger wrote to Gamble about the Negro Project, saying:

"We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."7

This is from the webpage:

So do some googling if you disagree...

Dr. Alveda King is promoting RACISM with this article. If the situation was reversed, she would be asking for severe penalties if the 7 people had been white and the victim black.

The fact of the matter is the following. A Jena High School student Mychael Bell struck a white student just after lunch such that the person was immediately unconscious. Six other black students provided a barrier so that no one could assist the victim on the floor, even though students AND teachers were trying to help the victim.

It was probably a melee with some of the 7 black students fighting with white students, and some of the 7 black students may have been also attacking the victim, who was helpless on the ground.

This press release if a stain on the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr., who was a peace advocate always.

These 7 black students practiced violence and should be condemned for that.

Dr. Alveda King should make it clear in this release that the 7 black students were in the wrong.

Additionally, she neglects that fact that 100 people were summoned to be on the jury, and only 50 people responded. There were black people asked to be on the jury, but they declined.

Dr. Alveda King also leaves out the important information that the lawyer for Mychael Bell was black and that this lawyer, who was appointed by the court, did not offer a defense for Mychael Bell.

Dr. Alveda King is getting bad information about and believing, which will make her less credible in the future.

She should be trying to help the situation, and she may be working with Jesse Jackson to make this situation worse, and provoke more racial situations...

Mychael Bell clearly acted like a thug, and the actions of the 7 black students could have taken the life the victim. Anything a person is struck so seriously that they become unconscious -- it is a serious matter.

“We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten that idea out if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

I’ve read her works and that is the most often out-of context quote attributed to her. Why is some article printed in 1991 attributed to that quote instead of her book? Context. If you had actually read Sanger, you would know that. She had similar projects in several poor immigrant neighborhoods. It was not even concentrated on blacks. Her plan was to introduce these groups to birth control and abortion as a way of stemming unwanted offspring in an attempt to ease poverty. She wanted to get local ethnic ministers and other leaders involved because they were more trusted. She was afraid that her intentions would be interpreted falsely by the residents of these neighborhoods. The quote you posted is what she said regarding that. Never was there any attempt to do away with any ethnic minority.

That one, out of context quote is repeatedly used to falsely charge Sanger with planned racial genocide thanks in large part to propagandist Tonya L. Green of “Blackgenocide.org”. 90% of what Google spits up on “The Negro Project” goes right back to Tonya L. Green.

“So do some googling if you disagree...”

LOL! Are you serious? I should discount what I read from Sanger herself and read what agenda-driven propagandists say?
