Women Will Elect the Next President

Fact: 54% of voters in the 2004 election were women and that’s good news for Hillary Clinton (D-NY). According to various news reports, Clinton employs six full-time staffers specifically for women’s outreach -- more than any other candidate -- to reel in the female vote.

For now, Clinton leads Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) in the Democratic race by a 42-23% (according to the latest RCP poll) margin and will likely take the nomination for 2008. She knows how critical that female vote is, which is why she participated in a Women in Public Policy (WIPP) event yesterday. Clinton used the opportunity to tout her freshly unveiled healthcare agenda.

I would have thought that would be good news for John Edwards.
After all, girls do like ponies.

When women find out how long they will have to wait for their child to see a doctor, that will be the end of that. The kids can’t sit still anymore.

Have been saying for years that they shouldn’t have gotten the vote. (And I’m a woman). They’re cancelling out their husbands vote besides. They’re ONE ISSUE people and miss the big picture.

This woman will stand in line for hours, even if it’s raining, to vote Republican. Every time.

I have ten woman cousins between the ages of 18 and 50. Not one will vote for Hillary. Comments include “bitch,” “liar,” “stayed with Bill for her own political gain,” “makes women look stupid,” “tyrant,” and “I don’t trust her.”

"When women find out how long they will have to wait for their child to see a doctor, that will be the end of that."That ain't gonna happen 'til AFTER the Hildabeast wins the election.

I'm sure the facts will be made known prior to the election by the MSM, right? /SARC

You defame every female conservative, and exemplify the worst of leftist thinking with a post like this.

For decades the media has been saying that women will decide the next election. However, AFTER the election they never seem to be able to document it (except for the nonsense about soccer moms electing BJ in 1992).

The think with Hitlery is that she is the most polarizing person in modern American history. Most people either lover her or hate her, very few people have no opinion. The women who hate Hitlery are not going to vote for her no matter what.

That takes guts for you to post that. In general I agree with you. The problem is, it’s not true for all women. I’d be more in favor of a voter competence test. Once a year, a simple current events test. You pass, you’re in, you fail, you get 1 or 2 retries, and then it’s wait until next year.
To me that seems reasonable, and logical, therefore, it will never, ever happen.

Like heck she does! Ann Coulter said the same thing. So does John Lott and they're right.

For the sake of America, we should hope there are enough married women (who tend to vote Republican) over single women (who tend to vote Democratic).

Considering that it’s men who have ushered socialism/progressivism into this country, and men (Dewey et al) who corrupted education, and men who continually screw up the major cities, I think we should ban men from running for office. /s

I really dislike stereotyped thinking - it shows a lack of intellectual capacity.
