forwarded from my email
From: Colonel Simcock, USMC
US Marine Colonel Simcock, the commander of USMC Regimental Combat Team 6 in Iraq, is asking for 6,000 positive emails to his Marines.
That's one email for each Marine in his RCT command. COL Simcock is concerned about the effect of the negative barrage that those Marines are getting through the electronic media and the Democrat comments on them losing. (Thanks Harry Reid! You and your Democrats really support the troops)

"If you're reading this email, then you can probably click on the address, type a few words, and then hit "send" to be all done.
It doesn't have to be the Gettysburg Address. Something as simple as "Hello, Marine. We thank you for what you're doing.
You are in a noble task. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Best wishes &get home soon" is more than sufficient.
I find that the part I put in bold is the most offensive. Whether you agree with the war or not, to send a "barrage of negative messages through electronic media" to our troops is utterly outrageous. It is not the war that is demoralizing them, it is the negative barrage of messages through electronic media as per their own commander.
Do people NOT understand that our troops, in this day and age of the Internet, are seeing what you are saying.... And so are our enemies?
These morons deliberately ignore that simple basic concept as they are spewing their hatred.
Our troops need to know we appreciate them and all they do for us.
Is it THAT hard to actually give them that support?
For some it seems to be. They should be ashamed of themselves.
EMAIL A MARINE. Tell them how much they mean to us. Take 30 seconds right now and just do it, ok?
Thank you.

dONE! Couldn’t be prouder of our Marines!!

Thanks!!!!
Great to hear. You definitely need to call or email your main service and ask them what the h*ll is going on with my email!!!! Why would you be blocking an email to our troops in Iraq?
I have so many problems with my verizon DSL. I hardly even use the email there. I am liking the Gmail far better. I am just glad it got through. Thanks again..~Pandy~
I’ll have to check it out. Isn’t that google email?
DONE! Thanks for posting this!

I don’t know , my daughter can’t get aim so she hooked me up with it. I like it far better then aim. I passed her the email address so everyone in her job is going to email too. ~Pandy~
I believe it is. It’s on my google browser and GMAIL is there. Well, at least google is not blocking Iraq troop emails. Appears verizon is and yahoo...shame on them. If that’s not what they’re doing...then they should be alerted to the kick back of those emails.
I like it because we can chat & nobody else is on my buddy list. Its so simple that my 7 yr old is allowed on there to talk to her big sister. Since nobody else is on my list or knows I have it we allow her. Otherwise she isn’t allowed online. I have a great fear of the day she gets on FR. I am sure she has plenty of opinions as I tend to talk to the computer. Right now she is boycotting everything from China.
LOL....a 7yr old boycotting MADE IN CHINA...WOW...she definitely has strong opinions at that age. Can’t imagine what she’ll be like in a few years. I’m going to look into GMAIL...
You don’t know Sassy lmao. Last year we had to do a report on Bill Clinton. Of all presidents in the 1st grade she had to get HIM!! So we worked really had on it & frankly it wasn’t easy. What can you say about the man? So I stuck to basics as it was an oral report. She gave a brief report about his life , school, being married to Hillary etc. At the end she said Hillary Clinton is going to run for president and my mommy says God help us all. I got a call home & a note from her teacher. Thankfully the teacher isn’t a fan of the Clintons & gave her a A.
