Darn. I was hoping they’d let him visit Ground Zero. There would be a chance some piece of equipment or other would “accidently” come in contact with his pointy little head.

Lift him to a great height and cast him into the pit. Do it on live television.

Why in the world would he even ASK to visit Ground Zero? Did he actually think we’d let him? Why are we even allowing him into this country? It is high time we disbanded the UN. This is just one of the zillions of reasons...

May they both spontaneously combust.

I would like to know why he isn’t given a tour of Rikers Island. He was one of the gang members who kidnapped American State Department works at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran. A federal crime committed on U.S. soil. I’ve heard many of the hostages testify that he was one of them. Why he isn’t arrested tried and incarcerated, I don’t know.

I think he should be arrested and retained for 444 days without being charged.

Something about that large rectangular pustule occupying otherwise incredibly valuable real estate along Manhattan’s East River I think near about 45th Street.

He wants to visit Ground Zero so he can exude in his speeches how great it felt to stand in the exact spot of the deaths of so many people of all religions (speech fodder). That’s just my opinion of it. Hatred walking on hallowed ground. I think not. Security nightmare for starters even if the other things weren’t a consideration. -

This would be like Emperor Hirohito of Japan during World War II laying a victory wreath on the site of the Pearl Harbor attack. It would make a nice photo op for Al Jazeera.

why is he allowed in America? Because the left has so neutered our country with political correctness that we can't even say who the enemy is, even when he has blatantly stated that he seeks our demise and the means to do so.

Note: this topic is from September 19, 2007. Thanks mdittmar. -- ...had asked to visit the site while in New York for the United Nations General Assembly this month... Police said they were unsure why Ahmadinejad wanted to visit... Zalmay Khalilzad, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, agreed with the police decision and accused Iran of supporting violent groups in Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan.... Officials at the Iran mission to the United Nations were not immediately available for comment.
