Murtha: Post-Withdrawal Bloodbath Would Not Be Congress' Fault
CNS News ^ | 9/18/2007 | Nathan Burchfiel

If pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq results in "a bloodbath," the guilt will rest with the Iraqi people and not with the U.S. Congress, according to Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.), a leading proponent of withdrawing troops.

"Many have threatened that there will be chaos, a bloodbath, when the United States redeploys from Iraq, and this in fact may be the case," Murtha said in a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Monday. "If they continue to choose to spill blood, it will not be on the conscience of the United States."

The same lame brain idiots who didn’t care about the bloodbath that followed our surrender and defeat in Vietnam. How can these people call themselves Americans?

Since it won’t be our fault, all the more reason to “redeploy” some of our troops in Iraq to help stop the genocide in Sudan. Lives are at stake.

I would call this guy a Ass’ Orifice, but I just can denigrate an ass that way. There is just nothing that can adequately described how vile Murtha is to my way of thinking.

Blame the victims... and hey what the heck are those lazy oafs in Darfur doing for themselves anyway? Rwanda? It's all their fault. Cambodia? Screw them.

But health care is a "right"! Damnit.

I lived in PA for a short while in murtha’s district. The only thing he is good for is bringing home the pork. He is a crook and should have been in jail for years now. instaed he gets to stand up making idiotic speeches about how things won’t be ‘his’ fault when it all goes to heck. As far as he is concerned, a dollar spend in Iraq is a $ that cant be spent in his district.

"If they continue to choose to spill blood, it will not be on the conscience of the United States."

Because I said so. So there.

What a hopeless waste of skin Murtha is.

Old redeploy to Okinawa just won’t quit his habit of making an ass of himself. Really makes you proud of this Congress.

And Pilot washed his hands and said....

So I would LOVE to hear how if that blood isn’t on Congress’s hands for cutting and running, then how can the Haditha marines have blood on thier hands Mr. Murtha?

Murtha is running for cover. But his thoughts leave a situation, in place, where Congress would be responsible for any bloodbath which would likely take place in the U.S. and Iraq. Murtha is one of many who have joined the enemy, to help bring about a U.S. defeat. Murtha wants cover, but cover for Murtha will probably be the least of the U.S.'s worries should the U.S. withdraw.

Hey Murtha, another Vietnam is what you and your minions really want. And another Vietnam this War is not! I pray Americans are wiser than what you think Americans to be. And may America Win this War, because lives depend on Winning not Withdrawing.

What an idiot. Who would listen to him on anything? I mean, other than Democrats, who are already brainwashed.

That, and the area has a long-time old-school Democratic base that would sooner vote for the devil himself before voting for a Republican. And maybe they have....

Murtha: I am going to cause this, but I’m telling you now that I do not accept responsibility for it.

I pity Mr. Murtha.

It is a poor soul who never accepts responsibility for his actions.

Little wonder he would contemplate taking a bribe.
