Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, said today that a University of Florida student who was Tasered after cursing police while resisting arrest during a Kerry speech is seared seared in my memory.
Florida student Andrew Meyer, 21, drew police attention during a Q&A session by vigorously filibustering Sen. Kerry, verbally attacking him for his failure to contest the 2004 presidential election results, his failure to yank funding from the U.S. military in Iraq, and his failure to impeach President George Bush, who is reportedly Mr. Kerrys Skull & Bones fraternity brother.
Sen. Kerry attempted to answer what he called the very important question, but his calm, measured words were drowned out by the screaming of the newly-energized Mr. Meyer.
Later, the professional Vietnam veteran expressed concern that the students freedom of speech had been squelched in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan
that is, if Mr. Khan had been able to buy a high-voltage stun gun.

ROTFLOL!!!
Scott Ott for President 2008! :-)
(just kiddin’)
Don’t you mean ‘hugh’ and ‘series’? ;-)
Why didn’t he jump into the fray and protect the punk?
He might have gotten another Purple Heart out of it.
“I remember Bob Hopes song Thanks For the Momories. Its seared in my mind.”
I thought it was “Thanks For the Mammaries.”?
KERRY COULD HAVE STOPPED THE ENTIRE INCIDENT. WHY WERE THE COPS SO INTIMIDATINGLY CLOSE TO THE MICROPHONE? Remember GWB interceding when his SS detail was being intimidated in by Chilean authorities? Instead, Kerry kept on like a communist reading the manifesto at a Cuban work camp. We are losing your republic. If this is how the democrats treat there supporters in good times, how will they treat their opponents in bad times? Since when do police officers have the right to signal to cut off microphones? Did you see the future generations of Americans in the auditorium sneering and sitting on their hands while a citizen was being abused for FREE SPEECH? It’s sick out there and getting sicker. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil if for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke
Bin Laden Estate Sues for Royalties on Videos
An attorney for the estate of Usama Bin Laden today filed suit against several major media companies for failing to pay royalties after distributing a video this week in which the legendary al Qaeda celebrity appears to appear.
The bin Laden estate, which includes dozens of heirs from various wives, owns the rights to Mr. bin Ladens image, voice characterization and archival footage, said the unnamed attorney.
Every time his videos are publicly displayed, the estate must receive appropriate compensation, he said, Unfounded speculation that Usama may yet live does not abrogate his survivors right to remuneration. What other world leader can you name, other than Dick Cheney, who has not appeared in public for so long, and yet is still considered to be alive?
Their not there.
If you're left of J effin K, tasering is not the right answer for you!
‘Just like Christmas in Cambodia.’
Ya know, the disconnect Kerry has with reality is the only thing that explains his choice of words here.....
I can’t see anything negative about Kerry himself in this. He tried to answer, tried to get them to let him answer.
But it does show a great case of the moonbats eating their own.
Why didnt he jump into the fray and protect the punk?
He might have gotten another Purple Heart out of it.
...................................................
May get one yet, he can do the paper work at a later date !
Im sorry you cant look beyond politics and recognize that the police state exists.... wether he is dem or repub -
I didnt see anything wrong with his behavior other than the odd line of questioning. He was leaving and merely shrugged off a hand that he did or did not realize was an officers....The situation would have been completely avoided had the police allowed him to finish his question and depart in embarassment.....but no - the elite were being offended, and of course, that is intolerable here in 1984
No, he did not intercede. He pretended it wasn’t happening. Some fat fu*king hero. He is a coward and a Marxist. (Not to mention, an incredible bore.)
LOL - careful now - yer gonna get me in trouble. The mods pulled one of my posts a few days ago so they have their eye on me.
“I cant see anything negative about Kerry himself in this.”
He was there. That’s reason enough.
Well, if he gets a medal for jumping into the fray, I predict that he will accept it, then later borrow a duplicate and throw it over the White House fence.
