I am amazed at the OJ stuff including what they are allowed to say about the original trial in Britain you would not be allowed to say someone had committed a crime if they have been found not guilty. You can allude to it but not say it straight out - culturally I find this coverage amazing and rather sickening.

I noticed that. Yes, we’ve got some nastiness again taking place over Bush and his pick. These people appear to sliver out from under their rocks and come out into the light from the DARK shadows they hide in...I consider many and most of these so-called FReepers TROLLS....

Muchas gracias snugs. Great dose, and I think I like this AG guy. Hubby says he’s good on terrorism. That’s what we need!

I call them overly-opinionated. They should run for President if they want to make those decisions. Jerks.

I think there are people that just wanted to see a battle at the confirmation hearings they enjoy this sort of thing how they can call themselves conservatives and Christian I do not comprehend. To enjoy and want this all the time seems to be to be opposite to the principles they purport to support.
The President on the other hand takes the higher road and picks the person to get the job done with the constraints that he faces with a Democratic Congress.

I remember comin' home one day a while back, and said to my husband, "I am so blessed...I went to get gas, and only had to introduce my little speed pass thing to the pump, then...I drove through the Starbucks and then, I was off to the 99 cents store for true shopping fun! This is a wonderful world." There are so many great things about living free!
I was such a geek the other day, but I'm glad I did it...there was a huge group of military guys (two rows worth) in the airport. I walked right through both rows saying, "Thank you for my freedom. You are making the world a better place. God Bless you all." It was fun...I almost teared up, too. I hope it makes a difference to them in a tough time in the future...maybe they'll remember what I said.
AND...REX HAD HIS TEST TODAY! Tomorrow, we find out if he's 100% okay.

Oh snugs, thank you so much for your work on Sanity Island, an oasis from the insanity. I agree with you about the OJ stuff. Our media is so lazy that they hear OJ and bring back all the old footage and people that surrounded the not guilty verdict. Insane, amazing and sickening and may I add lazy.

Mr. Munkasey is a skilled prosecutor ... and W knows what he's getting is what's needed. God bless him.
Retired judge Michael Mukasey is intimately familiar with the nation's legal battles over terrorism. He played a central role in such cases for over a decade much of that time getting around-the-clock protection from armed guards.
Mukasey, 66, once worked as a reporter, but gave it up to pursue a career in law. He was nominated to the federal bench in 1987 by President Reagan and eventually became the chief judge of the high-profile Manhattan courthouse.
As such, he played a key role in the nation's response to the 9/11 attacks, which brought down the World Trade Center towers just blocks from Mukasey's courthouse.
In the days after the attacks, Mukasey and other New York judges worked behind closed doors, seeing some of the first material witnesses detained by federal authorities.
~~~~~~
God bless Pres. Bush, Gen. Petraeus, our fantastic troops and allies.
Thanks for the dose tonight snugs. The picture of Dana Perino is great.
Just wanted to mention, I’m baking a peach pie tonight! I wish I could post a picture of it as you do. I love peach pie and only make them when peaches are in season.
