A UF student was shot with a Taser gun today at a campus forum with U.S. Sen. John Kerry.
Andrew Meyer, a telecommunication senior, yelled out to Kerry, a Democrat from Massachusetts, and insisted his questions be answered while police tried to restrain him.
Meyer shouted that the senator should answer everyone’s questions. Kerry was brought to UF by Accent, Student Government’s speakers bureau.
Kerry said it would "be fair" to answer Meyer’s question, and police allowed Meyer to approach one of the microphones set up in the University Auditorium.
Kerry finished answering a previous question, which was intended to be the last question for the forum at about 1:30 p.m.
During Meyer’s question, his microphone was cut off, and police tried to move him away from the microphone. Steven Blank, Accent’s chairman, said Meyer was cut off because he used profanity and his question was too long.
When police moved him away, Meyer resisted and began to yell out to the audience, asking "What did I do? What am I being arrested for?"
Two officers tried to handcuff and restrain Meyer while another pointed a Taser at him.
As they moved Meyer closer to the auditorium exit, Meyer screamed for help.
Once Meyer was removed, Kerry continued to answer Meyer’s question about why he did not contest the 2004 election.

I’m sure Ho Chi Kerry want to claim that kid’s Purple Heart.
And later that day Johnny Heinz Kerry was awarded his 14th Purple Heart.

You know, that’s the first darn thing that came to my mind, as well “ooweee, looks like Kerry’ll be puttin’ in for another Purple Heart (after all, didn’t he “report for doody” three years ago?)
I think we ought to put the student in for that award Kerry got the with the “V” for valor that does not even exist!
Because Kerry got a good ol' fashioned Texas ass-whipping by almost 4 MILLION more votes. That's why!

The kid gets a Purple Heart for that, right?
I think it’s kindoff funny that Kerry had to deal with this type of guy for a change. He helped create him.
The kid was upset that Kerry conceded so quickly in 2004. He stuck with the questions the campus police didn’t like it one bit.
LOL, it went FUBAR from there...
If it would have been a conservative on the platform, the kid would have gotten a guarantee of a diploma for his actions.
He probably asked for Jf’n Kerry’s military records!

Good thing he didn’t try to ask about Kerry’s 180 form that got lost in the mail.
We know his military record. Only bastard in the military ordered to Cambodia in ‘68 by Nixon. It had to be something else.

You don't dare question a Democrat Senator about anything. If he was questioning Hillary, they'd probably find him swinging in either a holding cell or his own dorm closet.
