"Saturday Antiwar Protests Fizzle" (Hilarious review of failed ANSWER protest)
Human Events.com ^ | 9/16/07 | Jack Langer

'Then they had to endure a three-block stretch that was lined with around a thousand flag-waving, pro-American counter-protestors. The marchers at first tried to ignore the interlopers, but their self-control always seemed to break down right around the guy who was singing into a bullhorn “All we are saaaying, is give soap a chance.”

Could those 'pro-American counter-protestors' Jack's referring to be our own FReepers and GOEs?? You guys ROCK!!

Bwahahahahaha! Loved this guy's take on the protest! :-)

Gee, I wonder who that could be...

Uh, oh, looks like the replies to this article needs some major freeping!! The libbies are already claiming Jack’s a liar and ‘spinning’ the ‘facts’—there were really over 100,000 protesters there compared to ‘less than a thousand’ FReepers and GOEs. I wasn’t there, but hopefully some FRiends here who participated can post some responses to Richard “Dick” Thomas and his liberal buddies! :-)

“Mysterious shut down of the subways”, bwahahahahaha! :-)

It seems there is far more obsession with these hippie throwbacks in the conservative community than with the general public.

Maybe our attention and resources would be better spent on strategies that offer a better return on our dollar and out time.

“The protestors, around 8,000 in all...”

But, but, but... they claim over 100,000! Who to believe, who to believe? Oh, the conundrum!

If this event was so well attended by the Moonbats it would have been on C-Span. C-Span ran a rerun of some 9-11 commission members.

The best way to defeat the left is with exposure and ridicule.

Elitist wannabes just can’t stand to be made fun of.

I sem to recall hearing that complaint before. EARTH TO MOONBATS, it's called a "Weekend Schedule" you dipstick.

Sometimes, to beable to let people know how much you hate the USA, you have to get up a bit earlier than you'd like.

I was there, and my estimate was closer to 2 or 3 thousand

It seems there is far more obsession with these hippie throwbacks in the conservative community than with the general public.

The Tsar probably felt the same way about the Bolsheviks shortly before they shot him and his family in the back of the head.

We ignore these 'hippie throwback' traitors at our own peril -- their 'useful idiocy' plays right into the hands of Bin Laden & Co. because the 'Rat party is beholden to them and the MSM pays them homage with their fawning coverage of their 'events'.

If CSPAN will not show them live then you know the event is a dud.

Poor babies probably were unhappy the OJ Simpson arrest occurred Sunday. What little chance there was for them to get some coverage then probably was gone. Just like in 2005 when “compassionate” Cindy Sheehan complained that Hurricane Rita was “just a little rain!” when that disaster dared to interfere with her protest of the week. That was another rally they said would make America take notice. Ha ha. Two years later no one remembers that one either.

You have a pretty good voice singing that “Give Soap A Chance” song.

I like this line:

“Instead, [the anarchists] sufficed with yelling a lot of slogans about class war at the cops. This was ironic, seeing as the anarchists were almost certainly all college kids, while the cops were about the only working class people in the entire crowd.”

I understand there is a hard limit for the number of bodies in that park - once the Park Service sees you’ve exceeded that limit, they move you to another location. I think the limit was 8,000. Obviously, NOT 100,000.

"I am a 28 year-old, well-paid, intelligent, and influential liberal who is enraged that my countrymen are dying and my tax dollars being spent for a war waged by war profiteers." LOL ...
