This trend?

"We recognize that Senator Thompson represents the beliefs of Southern voters," said Terry Benham, Thompson's political director for the Deep South.

You mean the trend of every state south of the Mason-Dixon line and east of Texas looking to be a blowout for Thompson? Barring an unforeseen turn of events, Thompson wins Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, both Carolinas, and probably Arkansas and Virginia easily, and I think it's only a matter of time before he's the clear front-runner in Florida.

But...but...I read elsewhere that Louisianians were enamored with that New Yorker guy. You know, the one in the frilly dress who wants to take away their guns.
