The prisoner claims that wearing pink places him in peril and is discriminatory.
Read the USA Today article -- it shows that there are different colors used in that prison for different classes of prisoners. Seems rather sensible to me.
Be sure it’s Chantilly Lace...
Personally I believe prisoners are entitled to the minimum in the way of sustenance, a place to exercise (no weights), medical treatment if they become ill or injured, a place out of the elements to sleep and that is it.
Coffee, TV, books, music and all the other things enjoyed by law abiding citizens should be denied. The difference between law abiding and law breaking should be brought home as plainly and painfully as is possible.
Just searched and someone found article before me.
Forgot about the USA Today / Gannet thing. I reported my post to the mods for their resolution. Thanks for the reminder.
No! They should get music! They should get the soundtrack to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!
But not the entire soundtrack!!
Just "Truly Scrumptious"
And we should put it in a loop
And they shouldn't be allowed to turn it off!!!!

“Oh to see a Clinton in pink...”
Both of ‘em...as ‘guests’ of Joe Arpiao!

That might be credible IF the reason they're wearing pink is because of something he'd done. In fact, if I were the warden, I'd probably react by changing all the prison garb to lavendar with charteuse polka dots...and let every inmate know why. (That'd never happen again)
Not in Serrif Aripao's tent city yet. And I don't think there will be.
Phil Valentine was talking about this yesterday. The first thing I thought of was Sheriff Joe. SC went a step furthur and claimed it was the only color left, LOL.
I did not intend to post an off-topic link to your thread, thought it was interesting how these students handled bullying and agree, just make them all wear pink.
Hey, waddaya mean off-topic??? It couldn't have been more on topic == and one helluva good solution to bullyism. (if there is such a word)
