Clinton ties ominous for jailed fundraiser Hsu, Web site says
The Daily Sentinel ^ | September 15, 2007 | By GARY HARMON

Democrat fundraiser Norman Hsu is the latest person who raised money for Bill or Hillary Clinton to come to harm under mysterious circumstances.

Hsu, 56, was on the run from sentencing in California on a 1991 fraud case when he became ill on an Amtrak train and was taken from the train to St. Mary’s Hospital.

He remains in the Mesa County Jail on $5 million bond pending extradition to California.

Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., returned $850,000 in contributions bundled together by Hsu, who has been tied to $2 million in contributions to Democrats.

A Web site dubbed The Clinton Body Count has tracked the fates of Clinton confidantes and fundraisers going back to 1992, beginning with C. Victor Raiser II and his son, Montgomery Raser, who died July 30, 1992, in a plane crash.

Critics have dismissed The Clinton Body Count as overheated Clinton hatred by right-wing opponents. The list is attributed in large part to Linda Thompson, an Indianapolis lawyer who compiled a list she called “The Clinton Body Count: Coincidence or the Kiss of Death?”

Another Web site, Snopes.com, lists many of the people on the list with corrections and additions.

Victor Raser, for instance, was national finance co-chairman of the Clinton for President Campaign when he, his son, Montgomery, and five others died in a private-plane crash in Alaska, en route to a fishing expedition, according to the Body Count site.

Snopes cited the National Transportation Board finding that the plane crash happened after the pilot of the small plane tried to negotiate mountainous terrain in low visibility.

Paul Tully, 48, Democratic National Committee political director, was found dead in a Little Rock, Ark., motel room from “unknown causes” and no autopsy was allowed, the Body Count site said.

There was an autopsy, according to Snopes, which found that Tully, an overweight smoker and heavy drinker, died after suffering a massive heart attack.

One death that still reverberates is that of fundraiser Ed Willey, a real estate attorney, who died Nov. 30, 1993, of a shotgun blast to the head. His body was found in deep woods in Virginia, and the death was ruled a suicide, but no note was found, the site said.

Willey died on the same day his wife said she was sexually assaulted in the White House by Bill Clinton, the site said. Kathleen Willey has claimed this month that a manuscript of her autobiography was stolen by the Clintons.

Ed Willey, said Snopes, had stolen $275,000 from a client and was deeply in debt to the IRS. Kathleen Willey, Snopes said, has never claimed the Clintons had a hand in Ed Willey’s death.

Hershell Friday, an attorney and Clinton fundraiser, died March 1, 1994, when his plane exploded from an unknown cause, according to the Body Count site.

His name, said Snopes, was Herschel, and the 73-year-old was trying to land his airplane at dusk in a drizzle on an unlighted landing strip when he crashed.

Daniel A. Dutko, 54, co-chairman of Leadership 2000, the Democratic National Committee’s main fundraising effort, died July 26, 1999, after a bicycle accident in which he was said to have struck his head twice on concrete, the site said.

Hsu, who appeared as a major Hillary Clinton fundraiser about 2003 in New York, sent have been claimed to be suicide notes by FedEx to several locations.

His case wasn’t addressed by Snopes.

Mesa County District Attorney Pete Hautzinger said Thursday he had seen one of the notes.

“It didn’t make a specific threat, but made clear that he intended to do himself harm,” Hautzinger said.

Hsu was treated for six days at St. Mary’s for undisclosed symptoms.

I dunno, HRC seemed to think if she just returned the cash this story would go away, but maybe the lib press is seeing that this might be what they need to knock her off—she’s not liberal enough for them. Obama and Edwards seem more to their liking.

Snopes has been debunking the Clinton accusations for years, even going so far as to link a Bush Body Count in its place. I will not give them the web hit they so desperately need.

Nothing too weird about that... His head might have bounced. Think of throwing a rock across a pond and watching it skip... Now think how much firmer concrete is than water. And how much bouncier a head is than a rock.

It’s also possible that his head hit the ground, then hit a curb or an entirely different piece of concrete as momentum continued carrying him forward.

Actually, I think a single blow to the head would have been way more suspicious.

Let me get this straight, so Snopes has discounted a few of the many arkancide victims, what about the rest of the very large group. Vince Foster and Ron Brown just to name a few.

Oh my! I didn't know he became mysteriously ill before he was caught. Perhaps he needs some pointers from that Ukrainian president on how not to be poisoned by communists....

except heads don’t bounce twice on impact, because the brain absorbs the bounce, or “recoil” because it is still traveling in the direction the head was during the first impact.

It looks like a small secondary ‘bounce’ when someone smacks their head on the pavement. The brain impacting inside your skull is what kills you, the force of that impact multipied by the skull trying to bounce back up. In a front or back impact, this force snaps the brain from the brainstem.

I hope I explained that properly. The brain acts as a shock absorber.

What this article doesn’t say is that there are plenty MORE mysterious deaths with close links to the clintons, but just not with an obvious fund raising connection.

How many people do YOU know that have died violently or mysteriously? Maybe 1 or 2 perhaps, - the clintons have close ties to about FORTY dead people.

I'll believe that when I see proof.

Snopes is far from the ‘final word’ on ANY of this.

Their pattern of debunking claims against the Grifters suggests that they’ve been bought and paid for by any number of FOBs (’Friends Of Bill’).

To Hell with ‘em (Snopes AND the Clintons).

Your suggestion of the Clinton’s ultimate destination will most likely occur without any help from us.

Perhaps so, however I stand ready to donate my Frequent Flyer AirMiles to assist them in reaching their eternal destination.

Ok folks what’s the timeline for these alleged suicide notes via FedEx? They were received on Thursday, that much we know (I think).

Where were they delivered from, and when did Hsu (*cough*) hand them to the FexEx guy? Overnight Delivery is almost certainly out, right?: He arrived in Oakland at 5:30 AM on Wednesday and was on the Amtrak train from Emeryville (a half-hour drive away) by 7 AM.

So that’s what, two-day FedEx delivery then? He writes suicide notes and hands them to FedEx on Tuesday, gets on a plane later Tuesday night (where was he coming from BTW) for his Wednesday morning Silicon Valley court appearance, knowing full well, apparently, that he’s planning to skip out on it?
