I went back there a couple of years ago, my old squadron area was gone( “41 type barracks ), the squadron HQ/Orderly Room building was the Class Six store, appropriately, I may add. Overall, I enjoyed my year at “Keesler Tech”..

I actually painted the 3396’ and 3392’ and loved every minute of it. :^) (all three floors every room) Of course you never found me on the drill pad. LOL

The old AFSC,s 304X1 was Nav-Aids, 304X4 was ground/air radio: x,s being skill level 3,5, and 7. I retired in 1999, CEM 2E000..

They were just building the “Triangle” when I was there.. Although my was attended Keesler there, he’s now MSgt with the 254 Combat Comm Group, Texas Air National Guard.

The Tivoli was destroyed by a hurricane but it was a place where the Navy and Air Force shared hallways. :^)
