Two Miami-Dade police officers have been injured in a so-called Tactical Operation gone bad in Cutler Bay.
This is currently a developing story that began at SW 281st Street and 143rd Court in Cutler Bay where the two officers were possibly shot, reportedly with an assault rifle.
Other officers may have also been hurt but only with minor injuries.
At least one officer has been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
After the shooting, one suspect barricaded himself inside a building at 280th Street and Southwest 143RD Court.
The other suspect took off in a White Honda Accord and began driving on the Turnpike and led police on a short chase before he bailed out at 222nd Street and SW 110th Avenue.
That suspect, described as a chubby white man with long black hair remains on the loose.
Broward County police agencies have been alerted to the shooting of the Miami-Dade Officers.

Three police officers seriously injured after shootout
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Three Miami-Dade Police officers are injured following a shootout at an apartment complex. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue has transported two of the officers to Jackson Memorial Hospital.Police say the shooter, possibly armed with an AK-47, is described by witnesses as a 28-year-old heavy-set male with a full beard and short hair, wearing a blue shirt. Authorities say he was driving a white Honda Civic with a black hood with the tag W10 4TD.
The vehicle took off northbound on the Turnpike in the southbound lanes just off Southwest 281st Street.
MDPD have set up a perimeter in the area between Southwest 108th Avenue and Southwest 105th Avenue on Old Cutler Drive, where witnesses last spotted the vehicle.
Yep blackhawk helicopter is confirmed so Feds are involved.

(CBS4) CUTLER BAY Two Miami-Dade police officers have been injured in a so-called Tactical Operation gone bad in Cutler Bay and now theres a massive manhunt to find the armed suspects.Police have located what is believed to be the suspects vehicle at 208th Street and 109th Avenue, however, it was empty.
The suspect is described as a chubby white man with long black hair. Hes described as being armed and dangerous.
This developing story began shortly before 11:30 a.m. at SW 281st Street and 143rd Court in Cutler Bay when officers involved in a tactical operation where reportedly shot with an assault rifle.
Other officers may have also been hurt but only with minor injuries.
At least two officers have been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
After the shooting, its believed one suspect barricaded himself inside a building at 280th Street and Southwest 143rd Court.
The other suspect took off in a White Honda Accord with a faded black hood, tinted windows and a broken rear window. The vehicle, with license tag W10-4TD, was traveling southbound on the turnpike.
It has been found unoccupied.

The area was becoming decent, then Hurricane Andrew came and made a mess of it. Thats about when I left the area as well.
It is actually a fairly "white" (70+%)part of town, hispanics being less than 40% of the population, which in Miami, is pretty low :)
Still, it is considered a rather white trashy area.
MSNBC has it...you should see the swarm of cops.
