CORSICANA, Texas — The live-in boyfriend of the mother of a 6-year-old found hanged and sexually assaulted has been arrested in connection with the child's death in Texas, KDFW-TV reported Thursday.
Kevin Anders was arrested after the lifeless body of Hannah Mack was found hanging in the garage by a rope around the neck.

Worse than you think. They have special units for sex offenders. They hang around together and talk shop, safe from other inmates. It’s unlikely it will apply to this guy (if he’s guilty) though. He’ll be on death row, the safest place in a prison.
I don’t get this hatred towards the mother. There is no indication that she had the slightest inkling that this guy was a predator, if he even is a predator. Texas news is still calling this guy the primary suspect. So far, according to local news, they haven’t hinted at having any evidence actually linking him to the crime. He’s been arrested, but not for the assault or the murder of the child.
Mother or father, you'd hope the parent would be very selective in who they let into their home and near their child.
The story we've all read, too many times, involves a single mom and the now cliched "live-in boyfriend."

You got that right. Evil step-parents used to be a common literary and storytelling device. But at least they had the decency to marry the surviving parent and adopt the children.
Too often, shack-up boyfriends are just a disaster waiting to happen.
If mom didn’t pick well the first tiem, what are the chances she will pick well the second time? (I know a FEW do, but it doesn’t seem like very many.)

Oh yes, a man after my own heart. I like the blow torch. I was thinking about this despicable crime last night and someone had suggested fire ants, but I like a good old block and tackle in a barn and a cutting torch. The worthless lump of living matter needs to take weeks to die. Maybe we could divide him in two, skin peelers and alcohol on the upper half and another team with blow torches on the lower half.
Cut his bannana off with a rusty knife..thats a good start. The Mom is a piece of work too..man- nice choice character to bring around her innocent, precious daughter.
