Getting a good rain here in South Central Alabama now,,was so bad here fish were dying in ponds,,looks like our beaver pond is going to make a comeback,,haven’t seen the beavers in awhile, though they could’nt have gone far,,been to dogone hot..
Good to hear.
It was about about 6 weeks ago that the governor asked us all to pray for rain.
Very good news. Thanks for the local update.
My Mamma reports it’s a frog strangler north of Atlanta.
Does it look like to you that the southern rain band has broken away from the original storm and reentering the gulf trying to gain its own identity?
Thanks for the link, but I can’t click it until I get rid of a virus that’s on my computer - so what I post might be a duplicate and sorry, if so.
Our local TV news is in Bridge City now and talked to this man’s neighbors.
It was so dear. His name was John Simon and he always sat out on his porch, reading his Bible. He counseled prisoners and cared for his invalid wife, they said.
One older lady neighbor was quite cheerful and said none of them are worried about where John was going - he’s gone where “we all want to go someday.”
Nuff said!
Okay. Wasn’t sure. Sometimes sarcasm is just too subtle here.
Say, that BAMM model shows him coming right down my street in central Florida. How good a model is it?
The BAMD shows it going past NYC and out through Newfoundland.
BAMM models are not very reliable.
LOL—a frog strangler?
I know what your saying but this radar shows it seperating possibly http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/gmex/loop-avn.html

barbra ann
Thanks very much for checking in. Glad to know you are safe. Inverters are wonderful things. Please continue to check back in when you can. Take care.
Oh—I see what you mean...hmmm
Why are all the models (except nogaps) recurving back into the GOM? I’m gonna go have a look at the experimental models, see if they’re doing the same thing.
Fox just said the Humberto broke a record (since recorded)for becoming a hurricane so fast right before land (or something like that)
Yep, me and the dachshund were driving in it this morning, nasty!
LOL! And my husband is thinking - ooooh! Maybe the shrimp will start running.
