Sabotaging Mexico

Terrorism: Another six blasts at Mexico's energy infrastructure Sunday drove world natural gas prices higher. But the probable real intention was to destabilize Mexico by destroying its economy. Who benefits here?

Thus far, no one has claimed responsibility for the coordinated attack in Veracruz that blew up six natural gas pipelines, cut off critical energy to Mexico's two biggest and most industrialized cities, and forced the evacuation of 12,000 residents.

The direct perpetrators are probably the Popular Revolutionary Army, or EPR, a newly re-formed terror group that was active two decades ago.

Recrudescing out of seemingly nowhere, it struck two gas pipelines in July in central Mexico and in a statement called that the beginning of a "national campaign of harassment against the interests of the oligarchy and this illegitimate government."

The shadowy group isn't bluffing. In a mere two months, it blew up a Sears building in Oaxaca, tried to blow up a bank, called in three bomb threats to the tallest building in Latin America to force the evacuation of 11,000 people, and left a car bomb in the garage to show their intents. Sunday's pipeline attack is their worst act to date, and shows far more calculated planning and resources.

It's about time for revolution and regime change in mexico,

I find it hard to understand why imposing "democracy" on such unreceptive cultures such as in the middle east or SE Asia is such a high priority over democratization of a next door neighbor that scavenges off of the US,

The USA is hemoraging cash into mexico with zero return. The cultural contamination being encouraged and cultivated by our government institutions will reap a third would whirlwind of poop one day.,

" Give us your poor, your tired, your slovenly huddled masses dumping diapers in our wal mart parking lots, and we will indoctrinate them with a sense of ungrateful entitlement at our citizens expense and exploit them like modern day wage slaves in the name of democracy and capitalism while we feed a corrupt and foul regime in their country of origin where their hearts will remain"

This ain’t good. I’m picturing an ugly scene at our border as a lot more migrate north to evade the situation.

I have no doubt that Chavez has his hand in this... Destabilize the country, and then bring in his marxist supporters.

Just what we need. Two of the largest oil exporters in the western hemisphere with “revolutionary marxist” governments.

Oops, that should have read “marxist puppets,” not “supporters.”

That’s what I think the plan is. Destroy Mexico’s private sector, chase out its foreign investment, shut its Toyota and Nissan plants and drive jobless people north. Who benefits from that? Marxists on both sides of the border.
