Tucson, Arizona Sept 11th 2007 - Extremists will protest our troops

Left Wing extremists in Tucson are calling for flag-draped cardboard coffins, death count signs and people in orange jumpsuits to be displayed to our fighting men and women in another blatant attempt to demoralize our troops and hinder military recruitment in time of war. When are they going to perform this despicable action?

Of course free speech allows this, but it's shocking that our troops have to go through it on September 11th. Many Tucsonans are planning to rally for the troops at the same time but we would like to see EVEN MORE patriotic citizens holding an American flag or troop support sign at the Military Recruiting Center, IN BETWEEN the protesters and the troops. Can you come out to back up our brave fighting men and women on September 11th instead of watching TV or whatever? You will find many cheerful veterans, military parents and patriotic citizens exercising OUR free speech. Because we have that right, too.

Here's the plan: Fill up the Military Recruiting Center parking lot and sidewalks at 2302 E. Speedway with patriotic Americans holding flags and signs that support the troops and their mission on September 11th, 2007. The time is 5:00 pm to 7:30 PM. Bring an American flag or a sign supporting the troops and some extra water if you can. (This IS Arizona!) However, there will be plenty of extra flags, signs and water.

The owner of the strip mall containing the Recruiting Center has given us permission to have the troop rally on Sept 11th. The leftists have been told to stay off the property or they will be trespassing and they understand that. It's really a win-win situation for troop supporters - if enough people can take the time to be there.

The troops overseas know what's happening here, and they often tell me how they are especially encouraged when they see a positive response to extremist left wing propaganda actions like this one. (The orange jumpsuits are being provided by World Can't Wait, a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party.)

If our Armed Forces see only flag draped coffins, orange jumpsuits and death count signs it's a little discouraging. Let's show them how much we care by showing up in force to support the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard on September 11th. Now is the time to stand up for our troops and America!

Here is a quick report, later I will do a full one. But I must report total success! We were completely set up by 4:30 pm, an hour before the left wing extremists, whose plan was to set up a block away and "drift" to the Recruiting Center. I got there at 5:20 and stopped at the red light near the moonbats while they were setting up. I sang the Navy and Marine songs while waiting causing them to give me a thumbs down. This made me suspect they didn't really support the troops so I yelled out "Traiters!" as I pulled away.

When I got there to the Recruiting Center a block down we had about 90 people. There was well over a hundred by 6:00 pm. The moonbats had...wait for it...about 30. Yes, it was very sad. For them! The traffic was constantly honking for the troops. Many people said they came because I called into KNST 790 morning radio talk show and iterated how disgusting it was for them to bring flag draped coffins to the troops on 9/11. They really shoot themselves in the foot sometimes, but I guess if they were brilliant they wouldn't be moonbats.

The Recruiters, far from being demoralized, were heartened and encouraged by the many people standing up for them.

They sent some orange suited nutballs led by a fatigue suit guy to walk through our crowd, then cross the street and go back on the other side. Vietnam Veteran Bob walked in front of them the whole way with a sign, I walked behind with "Say No To Communism" and lectured them with a bullhorn about World Can't Wait being a front group for Revolutionary Communist Party. When they go back Bob turned around and showed them his sign "Wearing Orange for Osama." Later the cops cleared out the moonbat infestation from our side and they all had to stay on their corners.

The Moonbats left promptly at their appointed pre-set surrender time of 7:30 pm. Most of us were stayed and left some time later. The cars were still honking as the last American flag was reverently taken down.
