I have voted for Conservatives only since 1998. I can not help it if you can not comprehend the fact that our foreign policy has been a source at least in part to a lot of our M.E. problems. That means understanding logically cause and effect NOT BLAMING. It does NOT mean we are to blame as many say Ron Paul is doing.
First it must be understood there is no such thing as a stable Islamic or Arabic Nation. There never has been. Understand that then you understand cause and effect and the problem is half way understood.
We have done some major blunders in the M.E. as far back as Truman IIRC. We set up the government of Iran and the Shah. He was not a Saint and the GOP needs to refresh it's memory. What was worse we armed the Shah remember? We cheer Saddam when he fought Iran remember? We sat by trying to tie the hands of Israel when it had to deal with pukes like Arafat remember?
YOU may be very surprised to learn it was a Republican POTUS and not Jimmy Carter {whom was a Dunce} that made state sponsored Terrorism a possibility. Look up the Beloved Jerry Ford's E.O. specifically on prohibiting foreign assassinations. That despite the fact the Constitution of the United States ALLOWS for such under Letters of Marque and Reprisals.
