On the face of it, it wasn't "nearly a million bucks from one guy." It came from hundreds of people, on paper. But the back records the NY Times reported today, show that Norman Hsu slopped the money around from point to point, "giving" it to others. so they could make apparently legal donations.

This is felony piled on felony, piled on felony. And we don't yet know where Hsu got the money in the first place. He went bankrupt in the US. Then he went bankrupt in Hong Kong. Then suddenly, he's back in the States with millions of dollars to give to American politicians.

Class, can you say, "Chinese Communists"? I knew you could.

If Hsu was laundering money through third parties like the Paws, how is her campaign able to identify those who are getting refunds, unless they knew very well what was going on? And if the money was laundered, why should they get it back instead of being indicted for being parties to a scheme to defraud?
