WASHINGTON (AP) -
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign said Monday it will return $850,000 in donations raised by Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu, who is under federal investigation for violating election laws.
Clinton, D-N.Y., previously had planned only to give to charity $23,000 she received from Hsu for her presidential and senatorial campaigns and to her political action committee, HillPac.
The FBI is investigating whether Hsu paid so-called straw donors to send campaign contributions to Clinton and other candidates, a law enforcement official said Monday.

If I laugh at my graphics I figure that’s OK
It’s odd - They seem often quite different after you see them posted on a thread
If a Republican duo kept getting their hand caught in the fortune cookie jar, the MSM would be all over them like white on rice.
Of course since it’s the Clintons not an investigative word will be written.

No yolk!! I notice that sometimes too..Lol
Traveling Man
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2007/09/10/traveling-man/
That night, passengers on in the sleeper compartment across the aisle from his noticed a hat, a book and other items spilling into the hallway from under the door. The next morning, the drapes were still drawn. Returning from breakfast, one passenger peaked through the curtains and saw a person wedged against the door. The passenger, Joanne Segale, a retired school-bus driver from Sonora, Calif., knocked on the window but got no answer. Mrs. Segale said she saw that he appeared to be in fetal position, bare chested. It appeared this person had fallen out of bed, she said.
Eventually, three conductors used the crowbar to pry the door open.
Mrs. Segale said that Mr. Hsu could not stand. He was acting like he didnt understand them. They tried to get him up but he couldnt walk. At one point, Mr. Hsu asked the Amtrak attendants if he was in jail, according to Mrs. Segale.
Nearly a million dollars!!! Shouldn't she be arrested for accepting illegal campaign contributions??
If Mrs. Bill Klintoon is returning or donating $850K, that says to me that there is probably another two or three million they are hoping no one inquires about.
“No, no, we already gave the $850K back.” True statement but basically a lie.
Another SHREWD MOVE by the Notorious Clinton Machine. The Day BEFORE the 6th Anniversary of 9/11, Hillary Clintons people state she will return $850,000.
Who on earth is going to receive that money next? Huh? Are the Feds going to let The Clnton Crooks handle the dispersement of those funds??? Does anybody else smell B.S? Unbelievable. By this weekend, she and/or her handlers will have uttered “this is old news” in a news conference or on TV at least once, mark my words.
“Wolfson said the Clinton campaign also will vigorously review its fundraisers, including thorough criminal background checks, in the future.”

I.e., If you want to donate, you MUST have a criminal background, otherwise you’ll be dis-qualified.
Whew, it's taken a while to digest 150+ replies and several related links on this thread.
It occurs to me, Bush is not going to let this one get away from him.
Note, the ChiCom guy was whisked off a train under wierd circumstances and taken to a hospital where he is kept under guard (no visitors?) for "undetermined ailments" or some such.
The FBI has him and aren't going to let him be Arcancided or skip the country. Heck, they might have arranged for him to get away from the judge in the first place so they could put him in a safe house.
We may find out that, as a ChiCom citizen he could play (supposedly) the restricted ChiCom Shanghai market (A shares: They are priced in the local Renminbi yuang currency . These shares were restricted to the domestic investors). It would be easy for him to make a phoney fortune (or just say he did) there.
It works like, his "American investors" give him some bucks to invest in the Shanghai renminbi market, Hsu claims he made a fortune and pays big ChiCom bucks to his "investors". His investors are probably told that if they makes it big, they have to donate a percentage to Hillary and DemoComs.
He hands out ChiCom "dividends", collects back, bundles, and delivers to Dems supposed donations that were originally ChiCom money.
I think the Feds have this guy on ice and we haven't seen nothing yet. Remember The Toon is not in charge of the FBI or the Justice Department this time.

“..if Shrillery is giving up nearly $1 million this quickly then there is an incredible cesspool..”
—
I imagine her plan is to say ‘I gave the $850,000 back already. This issue has been addressed. Now, let’s talk about Health Care.”
This is how she hopes to disarm her detractors - through dodging their actual probe; disinformation has been at the heart of the Klintoon saga for years.
She won't be able to dodge the Bush Justice Department and his U.S. Attorneys. There is a long time to election day.

This is the kinda crap that just makes me so angry I can’t see straight. If a Republican had accepted $850K from such a character, it would be THE story 24/7 on every MSM outlet and would stay so until the Republican was run out of the campaign trail forever. I guarantee you the coverage of it with her, however, will be almost non-existent and there will be NO calls for her to withdraw. Instead, they’ll praise her for being so quick to give back so much money.

Good graphic Phil
Sure hope you’re right, but after watching the gross mishandling of Sandy Burglar, Armitage and Plamegate, etc. it is impossible for me to share your confidence that the feds have their #### together, or that the WH is paying much attention at all. We’d all love to see Hsu well protected and singing like a canary about Shrillery and ChiComs, etc. but I won’t get my hopes up unless/until it actually happens. Meanwhile, Hsu had better be praying that his safety is VERY well secured.

You want it to go back to China?
