Rest In Peace, Jane, and prayers up for your loved ones.
She played a great character in Falcon Crest.
RIP Jane.
What a classy lady she was. Now she is reunited with Maureen. Rest in peace, Jane.
WOW RIP Janie
She raised two very well respected children.
“...I’ve always been a registered Republican. But it’s bad taste to talk about ex-husbands and ex-wives, that’s all. Also, I don’t know a damn thing about politics.”
If only the rest of Hollywood realized this.
definitely a class act.
I have this image of Ronnie welcoming Jane on the other side with a comment such as “you did good, kid.”
I like to know why Jane kids turn out be so nasty while Nancy children Ron Prescott and Patti turn out be bunch of jack*** LOL!
No mention of a husband after Ronnie, did she not re-marry? I never missed an episode of Falcon Crest and always liked her, but didn’t know anything of her personal life after Reagan - just fleeting mention when Maureen died.
Sorry to hear of Wyman’s passing. May she Rest in Peace.
Total respect based upon that illuminating comment from her.
RIP, Classy Lady.
Wish there were more like you.
She married, divorced, remarried the same guy, and divorced him again. Then she went stag from ‘65 on.
Reading this story, it is amazing how much class both Reagan and Wyman had. Maybe the marriage didn’t work but they didn’t tear each other apart in public. I learned a lot from reading this about how adults should conduct themselves.
I had Jane Wyatt and Jane Wyman confused. For years I thought Reagan’s ex was the star of FATHER KNOWS BEST.
You’re right about her having lots of class. She was a serious actress and yet she had common sense and common courtesy too.
Following her divorce from Reagan, Wyman married bandleader Frederick Karger in 1952, and they divorced in 1955. They remarried in 1961, and divorced a second time in 1965.
Wyman converted to Catholicism under the influence of her best friend Loretta Young, with whom she often attended Mass.
The Reagan family in the 1940's.
