This is a video of Kucinich in Syria - for some reason - where he gives an interview condemning the 'occupation' of Iraq by the U.S. The transcript is for those of us who cannot sit through the entire video interview.

Strange times we live in when a presidential candidate woos voters by going very, very close to enemy territory so he can publicly and vehemently disagree with military policy.

On the other hand, Kucinich finally found an audience who supports his U.S. foreign policy initiative. Of course, they are in Syria, so they technically cannot vote, and some narrow-minded people think some of those guys are aiding and abetting the enemy...but the point is, they get it, people! They understand Kucinich. They love Kucinich. And that is what matters. If we have to be taxed so we can pay 'reparations' in order to maintain that love - and maybe fund some weaponry for future slaughter -- then we'll gladly do it. Peace at any price, people. The US has no enemies, just misunderstood friends in need of hugs and money.

What’s that Idiot talking about reparations.

The U.S. is spending billions of taxpayer dollars trying to rehabilitate Iraq in an effort to get the Iraqi populace to join with us to defeat the Bathists an the AlQeda creeps.

So far things are working.

Dennis The Menace has really flipped the bird! He's gone cuckoo!

That pretty well sums up Kucinich and the rest of the left-wing nuts in one statement.

Kucinich should have experienced Saddam's rape rooms and wood chipper, feet first.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

I strongly suspect the linkage is more closely associated to contracting mechanisms where the Congressman is encouraging some deep pocket pay incredibly large sums of money to foreign recipients and in return he and his party are empire building elsewhere without accountability.

One way to stop this is to mandate all the his constituents foot the bill first, as well as finance reparations for all the damages caused by Iraq since the first Gulf War. Then we’ll see how well the voting public supports his views.

Well, maybe we can talk about that after the Democrats first pony up reparations to American blacks for being at the FOREFRONT of slavery, Jim Crow, and opposition to civil rights for black people when the vote was actually taken.

The American people have got to be the most stupid people in the world to elect idiots like this to Congress.

This chump, who is also a card carrying member of Congress ought to consider paying reparations to the entire country for the political damage that he has done, and is so intent on doing to our Nation.

It stymies me that such an A$$hole could garner enough votes from civilized people to actually hold an Office that should be considered as “prestigious.”

I agree, reparations, but not cash, give the Iraqi’s Cleveland, Ohio to do with as they please.

This lunatic congress critter can return home without fear of being hanged for his traitorous and insane comments....which is a sad commentary our determination to deal harshly with traitorous politicians who take these International Foreign Policy interference trips..

All who wish to pay reparations to ANYONE in the Turd World, should be given an address to mail their personal contributions......

Fools and THEIR money should be separated....I just don’t want them using MY money for such foolishness...
We’ve already paid too high a price to free Iraq..
The way I look at it —— THEY owe us, big time.

I happen to think that the little gremlin needs to pay reparations to the city that he darned near ran into bankruptcy! Wasn't that Cincinnati? I can't remember off hand. But I seem to recall him being a complete failure at that, so of course, given the peter principal, he's elected to a federal office!

Geez!

We free the country from a vicious dictator, setting the stage for the first free elections in the country's history. We defend it from its enemies -- al-Qaeda, Iran and Syria.

And Kucinich says we should pay fo rthe privilege.

Just like a Democrat. The U.S. is always wrong. But, more dangerously, the enemy is always right.

“Kucinich: The U.S. Must Pay Reparations to the People of Iraq”

I’d like to suggest a third party ticket of Kookcinich/Paul.

The House of Representatives passed a resolution calling on the UN Security Council to sanction Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his threats against Israel.

And the only two members of the House who voted against the resolution both happen to be presidential candidates: Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul.
