That JPFO and the NRA have different views on "gun control" is no secret; you can read our position -- and view supporting evidence -- at http://www.jpfo.org/alert20061211.htm . You can also read an article on the NRA's recent alignment with gun-prohibitionist Carolyn McCarthy at http://www.jpfo.org/smith-nra.htm .
And now, NRA Director Joaquin Jackson has publically stated that magazine capacities should be limited to five rounds and that "assault weapons [sic] should be limited to military or police." That's right -- a director of the supposedly pro-gun NRA wants to take YOUR semi-automatic rifles away.
Don't believe us? Think it's just a rumor? View the evidence for yourself at http://www.klru.org/texasmonthlytalks/archives/movies/jackson5_44k.mov (we also have it mirrored on the JPFO site at http://www.jpfo.org/joaquin.mov ).
Already the NRA apologists are coming out of the woodwork. Anyone who points out the hypocrisy of Jackson's position are denounced as "wackos", "black helicopter paranoids," and "just trying to make a buck."
It's time to "Humiliate and Repudiate" Joaquin Jackson and the NRA. Go to http://www.jpfo.org/handbill-joaquin.jpg to see our latest handbill. Print it out and distribute it to those who still believe the NRA is working in the interest of gun owners. They are not.
If you value the truth more than betrayal and want an aggressive defense of your natural and Second Amendment rights, visit http://www.jpfo.org/member.htm to learn how you can join JPFO. We encourage you to use our "gun control" destroying books and videos ( http://shop.jpfo.org ) and get on board with us today.

In 337 you state "I have tried to find out if Neal has but not found anything." Hint:Neal died 2 years ago. Even a half hearted effort at "research" should have brought that up.
I do applaud your other efforts at research. Has been like pulling chicken's teeth however. But at least in this regard (JPFO's problems)you've made an effort. Belatedly, but an effort none the less.
My friend, PROCEDURE is what separates us from the unwashed masses. The rabble. With a org. as large as NRA it must be that way. There is a process. Better to let all the facts come out, let members mull it over, then vote their concerns. Is there a better way?
I try to help you out and you feed me a shit-sandwich. But finally, finally, you are coming around....
POS got sent to Federal Prison! He was a major drug trafficer....who also was a rapist.....I praise God I lived to be able to see my children the next day.I will watch the video and let you know my thoughts
YouTube video of anti-gun NRA Board Member Joaquin Jackson
Sorry.....but this guy is a scumbag gun-grabber........and until he his removed from the board of the NRA I will actively work to inform the public of this man's outrageous un-American comments.
I did in June, when my one-year membership expired. I wrote a letter explaining that I will not renew unless they renounce their alliance with Carolyn McFarty and stop supporting background checks that authorize Uncle Sam to poke his nose into the medical records of free citizens. Correct me if I am wrong, but I understand background checks were non-existent prior to the 1960s, yet so were school shootings. Perhaps a few organizational higher-ups fear fading into oblivion if gun-control disappears?
Meanwhile I proudly support the JPFO, which unabashedly stands up for the 2nd Amendment and refuses to kowtow to the gun-grabbers.
This is going to sound really cynical, but I wonder whether Sarah Brady, Carolyn McFarty, and the MSM secretly foam at the mouth waiting for some tragedy to unfold, in order to give them - ahem - ammunition in their fight against legal gun-owners. Heck, they even used the Oklahoma City bombing as an excuse to restrict guns! I suppose they could have gone after fertilizer instead, but then publications such as the N.Y. Slimes and Washington Post would have been out of business.
If true, this person is only involved in second amendment rights as a job not a belief.
Perhpas this person would only support prive ownership of frontloaders.
That’s very common and especially when others are firing also. It is almost impossible to count the rounds that you fired. I can only imagine how bad it is when the others firing are firing at you.
That’s ok, hope all is well with you.
Great.
Part of me thinks that the long time law enforcement may have corrupted his beliefs. I urge you to watch the video, read his response (others have posted repeatedly on this thread) and then you can determine for yourself what you think he stands for.
SAS Bump!
Glad to hear he got put away. Hopefully he will not get out.
I hope all the scars (mental and physical) have healed.
Not if there's 3 bad guy's!
fyi, even with these 60YO eyes/reflexes, i can hit 6 of 6 shots in the K5 area from a kneeling supported position at 50M, with my S&W Model 65, 4". when you KNOW that you have a total of 6 rounds before stopping to reload, you HAVE to learn to HIT what you are aiming at!!!!
fwiw, "the average lawman" today, with a "wunder nine" and 15+ shots cannot hit more than 2 rounds into the K5 at that range!!!! (how well i know THAT, as i used to be a "supervising range officer" at the NTxRPA!!! i've "lost count" of how many times i had to make a written report to HQ about an OFFICER shooting OVER the 10' berm!!!)
btw, when i was a SDUSM (court security division) a decade ago, we "SDs" consistently OUT-shot the DUSMs, with our OLD/tired, USMS-issued, 4" Model 10s!!!!
the "regular deputies" were armed with those "wunnerful, wunnerful, quazillion-shot, automatics" & my old buddy Dave ______________ (at age 64, he was the "bodyguard" of the Senior District Judge) OUTSHOT/humiliated them all with his (privately-owned) 5.5" barreled Model 25 S&W. of 200 shots, for record, he missed NONE (the last time he qualified)!!!
finally, i believe that ALL LE agencies should go back to 38spl/357mag REVOLVERS for virtually ALL officers, as this would save:
1. time (fyi, i can teach a NON-shooter to shoot, with a "4-inch Smith" in 8 or LESS hours, so that he/she can QUALIFY on a standard LE course!),
2.money for range training &
3. save lives/property/lawsuits, as well.
just my opinion.
free dixie,sw
If you were Jack Bauer one bullet would be all you needed....
If I had a magic loogie too...then maybe.
