I sincerely hope that the Republican nominee has the guts and brains to run selected juicy quotes from Schumer’s rant in an ad, followed by a picture of him with Hillary and the words “This man wants Hillary Clinton to be President...help make sure that he doesn’t get his wish.”

It took him a couple of days to get his ‘game back’ after vacation, but today’s been one of his best shows in some time now.

Rush was at his best today. Hope you get a chance to hear it. But, in regards to this portion of the transcript:
I think they're going in far worse and far more dangerous territory for them than McGovern took them. They are McGovernizing themselves...Folks, I'm promising you this. They are heading for a landslide defeat of magnitude proportions we haven't seen in politics. I don't know when, but it is going to happen. They can't survive this.
I'm not so sure Rush has this right. I'd like to be so wrong about this, but my sense of it is that were McGovern running today as the DIM nominee, he'd have at least as good a chance as John F'N Kerrie did of winning the majority vote. In fact, I think McGovern would do better today than Kerrie did in '04.
