I think they're going in far worse and far more dangerous territory for them than McGovern took them. They are McGovernizing themselves...Folks, I'm promising you this. They are heading for a landslide defeat of magnitude proportions we haven't seen in politics. I don't know when, but it is going to happen. They can't survive this.
I'm not so sure Rush has this right. I'd like to be so wrong about this, but my sense of it is that were McGovern running today as the DIM nominee, he'd have at least as good a chance as John F'N Kerrie did of winning the majority vote. In fact, I think McGovern would do better today than Kerrie did in '04.
I wish President Bush would treat these treasonous DIMs like President Llincoln treated the Copperheads. Show them the inside of a prison cell where remarks like these should land them.
