In the old days, back when women wore proper shoes, it was Clop-Clop.
SUCK-flap is just one more irritating thing, no worse than it used to be.

Even worse was the boat-shoes-without-socks trend among us guys about 15 years ago. Breathing in foot odor on a regular basis made me noxious, even if it was my own!

Clemenza's rules of feet:
1. No white shoes after labor day.
2. Never give another man's girlfriend/wife a foot massage.
3. NO FLIP FLOPS OFF THE BEACH!

I love my flip flops...having had a serious ankle injury years ago shoes have become one of my difficulties. In my flip flops I have no problems. However...those that make that noise with them...are the same to me as squeaky shoes, clip clop heels....etc.
The noise is unnecessary.
