Oh give me a break. He did not win the debate; nor is he the only one thinking about the issues.

He did not win the debate;

He won the Fox News text poll.

The “debate” was worse than worthless, and Hannity’s cackling while Paul was trying to answer was classless and beneath contempt. That being said, don’t believe for a second that Paul supporters didn’t spam that poll. 34%? I think not.

Viewers were asked to text in their thoughts on who won the debate

***********

I'm guessing that many, many registered voters don't text.

Where’s the Hurl Alert?

Ron Paul is an embarrassment to what little dignity the Republican Party still can muster.

I’m guessing that a lot of back-slapping Democrats were texting like mad.

“Ron Paul demonstrated last night that he is the only Republican candidate that gives any thought to issues and his answers...”

What kind of stupidity is that. Yes, Paul has thought about his answers, and so has every other person on that stage. The fact of the matter is that having a foreign policy that is far more similar to Pelosi/Murtha than to GWB is rank lunacy, regardless of how many Paul spammers text into Fox.

Actually, it showed that Hannity isn't secure in his own positions. He was a cheerleader for invading Iraq, and it's now been shown to be a mistake. Now he's cheerleading for invading Iran - and he doesn't want to be challenged, because he knows there are very strong arguments against such a radical action.

Ron Paul clearly won the Republican presidential debate last night held in New Hampshire.

LOL!

After last night's debate, I no longer think Ron Paul is a kook. He's a freak.

How in the hell can Fox News call itself “fair and balanced” after that BS last night? Say what you want about CNN, but their questions didn’t sound like attacks and they never asked questions like “why are you running as a republican, Giuliani” or “are you Al-Qaeda’s candidate, Paul”.

They must be a extremely reputable news source.

The stoneless Ron Paul got his head handed to him by
Huckabee. If Paul were elected president, bomb shelters
would come back into fashion.

Was that Hannity who I could hear laughing during the questions to Paul? What sheer unprofessionalism.

“Giuliani, Romney, Tancredo and the others proved last night that they are not free thinkers and are clearly trying to garner the support of Bush’s supportive base.”

You mean they’re *gasp* REPUBLICANS!?!?!? Sweet Jesus, how does a guy this dumb even get a column of his own?

All this says to me is either that more Ron Paul supporters watched the debate or they were the ones most inclined to participate in the poll.

The fact of the matter is that having a foreign policy that is far more similar to Pelosi/Murtha than to

Correction: His foreign policy is closer to George Bush as candidate in 2000, when he rejected Clintonian "nation building." Now, Bush is attempting Clintonian "nation building" in Iraq. Hillary supports him - no surprise, since "nation building" is a Democrat/Clintonian concept - while Paul opposes. Paul is closer to the old Bush/old Republican position. He's also closer to the old Republican position on spending and government(he wants less of both; Bush has given us more of both).
