Nice seeing this, thinking back how you and I with just a small handful of others here on FR were just thinking about the possibility of a Thompson campaign way back earlier in the year before it was even heard of. Now it’s really happening. Very exciting times indeed!

So go vote for the hildebeest. The early campaigning has been going on for so long a lot of us are tired of the posers and rinos who jumped in early and are burning out fast. Let’s face it, Fred rates as highly in most polls as the running front runners.

Fox has really disappointed me in the past year or so. It's drifted too much into the 'missing blond of the week' network. While those types of stories are important, I don't want to see 90 minutes of programmming dedicated to just that every night.

I hope we can hear what he has to say in tonight’s debate. He’s been hiding for too long.

LOL! Fred? Hiding? You obviously haven't listened to his many radio broadcasts both on ABC, and as a substitute on the Paul Harvey show over the last few months. He's also written many opinion pieces for Townhall.com, and for his own blog.

He's been out there, most folks just haven't bothered finding out his positions on the issues.

HA! I remember those days. We started out with just a handful and now have over 500 and still growing! In January it was just a pipedream. Thankfully, Fred heard our call and answered.

GOOD JOB EVERYONE!!

Now the real work begins. :)

That said, I wish he hadn’t skipped the debate tonight.

I believe he's going to be in the next one, three weeks from now. Just how many of those silly things are they going to have, anyway? It's like musical chairs. After each debate, one more chair is removed as someone drops out.

I sure enjoyed his announcement speech on the video. Laid it all out there for everyone to hear, exactly where he stands on the big issues. They will all be fleshed out as the days and months pass, but it was a great start!

Why ... Leno ???

Could be because he has the largest late-night audience on TV. Fred will have 10 times the exposure on Leno that he would have at the Debate.

He wouldn't win New Hampshire anyhow, it's too stinkin' liberal.

Something about the guy... listening to him gives me hope.

The kind of hope I remember listening to RWR.

Seems like every time he talks, he pushes aside the blame game bullcrap and just says “Let’s SOLVE THE PROBLEM!”

Maybe we can. It’s worth a try.

He believes, and stated in his announcement video, that a nation that cannot control it’s borders won’t be a great nation for long. He believes we need to 1)stop the flow of illegals into the country, 2)enforce the laws we have now, and many will self-deport, which is happening right now, then 3) deal with all those who are left. That will be better than trying to deal with the ones who are here while more are still coming in.

I just watched the video. It’s pretty powerful, and he covers just about all the bases.

I wonder if he can motivate everybody to make the sometimes hard choices it’s gonna take.

Go Fred!!!!

We’re ready for Freddy!!

Send some bread to Fred!!
